Good tour of Riga - Carlos was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the historical events in Riga. We walked through the old town and view many historical buildings and sites. After the tour, he offered suggestions on where to go for lunch and other sites to see. He was very personable.

Definitely RECOMMEND - Guna was superb - very knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour, made this experience very enjoyable indeed.

Highly recommended. - The Führer was a really very sympathetic man who guided us comfortably through you old town for two hours. He spoke perfect German and brought us closer to the city, history, country and people. He was always open to questions and we have nothing but praise. This tour is worthwhile.

Guide is key - Our guide (Gula - sp) was born locally -- crucial. She had deep knowledge and a long perspective on the city of Riga. She was also approachable with questions. Strongly recommend the Occupation Museum. No other museum has had as big an emotional or intellectual effect on me. It makes one appreciate and understand Latvians when one learns that they have been occupied by foreign powers for 900 of their 950-year history. Thoroughly enjoyable as well as educational.

Loved Riga - Our tour guide was really , really funny she included humour in some of her historic stories. I enjoyed listening To her and learned so much about Latvia. She was excellent and spoke English well.

An informative tour for two hours - Excellent value. The way I read it is that if you prebook then one is not expected to tip, if you join the free tour one is expected to tip. An enjoyable and informative tour. At times, perhaps too much talking and a little more walking could be added because I am sure some other areas could be visited. Worthwhile to get a feel of the old town.

Fine bygg - Nice buildings to look at, with restaurants nearby, good mix between new and old buildings. You can also take a tour with the city cars for tourists.

The tour was terrible. The tour guide was low grade. - Guna was the tour guide for the old city 2 hour tour. She was terrible. Very poor communication skills. Very poor social skills. I would not recommend this your run by her!!!!!!!
