Fantastic Thai cooking experience - We recently attended a Thai cooking class, and it was an outstanding experience! Apple and her team were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the start. The hands-on learning was fantastic, with clear, step-by-step instructions for authentic dishes like Penang Curry, Tom Yam Gung, and Yam Som Oh. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients bought at the market in the morning enhanced the flavours, and the lunch was yummy! Overall, this class was a perfect blend of expert instruction, practical learning, and delicious food. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in cooking or looking for a fun activity. We can't wait to join another class in the future!

Awesome - From the market shopping experience, to creating a curry paste from the scratch, the method to adding the ingredients, the cooking and aromas it produced and the eating of the final product. Amazing experience, and the added bonus that as a group of people all making something different that we enjoyed seeing each dish created method of the construction of each dish and as well tasting everyone else's food. Apple our teacher was fantastic.

Cooking in Thailand! - We had the BEST afternoon with Apple and her girls in her lovely cooking school/restaurant near Khao Lak Being picked up from our hotel was amazing and there was only 4 in our class (my husband and I, and our friends) The class itself was so smooth and we learned quite a few tricks! We got to choose what we wanted to coo and the food at the end was amazing, we had Green Curry, Tom Yum Soup, Pork Belly and sticky Mango rice - we were also shown how to make spring rolls (even ones with banana and chocolate!) Apple has so much knowledge to share and she is funny as well - I would highly recommend this class and will definitely go back there next time I am in Khao Lak Thank you for a great afternoon!

Fantastic class and a brilliant teacher - As the weather had been rainy we looked for something else to do while we stayed in Khao Lak - a cooking class seemed like a great option as we both loved to cook. Apple made it easy to book through WhatsApp and I would recommend doing this. We picked the meals we wanted to cook and it all went very smoothly with pickup/drop off etc. Going round the market with a local and someone so knowledgeable was amazing and we learned lots. The cooking itself was well organised and Apple is a fantastic teacher. We were a group of 2 with another group of 3 and I think the small groups Apple insists on means the class works perfectly and you always feel like you are learning. The new kitchen is beautiful and the produce so fresh. The food we cooked was delicious and overall was a fabulous experience. Thank you Apple!!

Amazing experience - What a fantastic experience we had spending the afternoon learning to cook delicious Thai food with Apple. We would definitely book this again if we are ever in Khao Lak again. Would have give her 6 stars if we could.

Brilliant experience! - We did a cooking class here which was such fun. The setting is beautiful with a big cooking/kitchen area. They picked us up from our hotel and when we arrived all the ingredient was set out for each dish. They explained what everything was and how to prepare each dish. When all the dishes were cooked we all ate together and the taste and flavours were amazing. This was such fun and the staff were fantastic. It’s a must if you visit Thailand 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Great Thai cooking experience! - I highly recommend the Riverside Thai cooking class! Starting with pick up at our hotel in a local Thai style cab to eating what we cooked, the whole experience was one of the highlights of our time in Khao Lak. The class started with a visit to the local open-air market where Apple explained the various ingredients we would be using. So interesting!! Apple is an excellent instructor giving detailed instructions and laughing with us as we chopped, diced and stir-fried our dishes. She has very helpful assistants working with her to help us at every step in the process. The food was absolutely delicious!! The class exceeded my expectations!! Thank you Apple!

Our Khao Lak highlight! - What a fabulous experience. This cooking class was a highlight of our holiday in Khao Lak. Apple and her lovely staff were delightful.......friendly, encouraging and supportive throughout the cook. The visit to the morning market was fantastic. Apple explained many ingredients and produce that we just don't get in Australia. The cooking school is in a peaceful location just out of town. It is a professional set up, spotlessly clean, polished wooden benches, cold water always available...a superb facility. As a group we were encouraged to watch and help one another, and then we shared the joy of eating our creations together. There was so much delicious food! A must-do experience!

Apple can teach husbands to cook😳 - This was the best thing we did in Thailand. Apple was so lovely and showed us so many techniques for Thai cooking. We had so much fun. Absolutely would recommend this class 100%. Our hint is book with Apple direct.

Best food ever and we cooked it ourselves!! - What an amazing experience! We arranged the class prior to our holiday all communication with Apple was answered quickly and we were able to choose what we each wanted to cook. I went with my husband & 12 year old daughter. We were picked up from our hotel & met Apple at the Fresh Market where she showed us many ingredients that we would have never have known. The venue is just at the edge of Khao Lak in a beautiful open air kitchen and we felt at ease straight away. We were with a dutch family and it was great as we all got to try each others dishes. Apple and her team were patient and answered all our questions. Plenty of cold drinks were also supplied. We have also received all the recipes by email so we can try the dishes at home. We have all said it was one of the highlights of a wonderful trip.
