A “must see” fabulous day trip! - What a fabulous day we had! It was well managed and we had enough time to comfortably see everything. Great value for money as it included a pick up/drop off from very close to our hotel. We had the best time and would definitely recommend! Hint and tip….. phone to arrange collection time and place (as requested In confirmation email) because this may vary from original document.

All aboard captain jack Spiros - This was a brilliant day made more so by the guide spiros, he was very informative and fun clearly explaining the history in 3 languages the trip was well organised. It was well worth the money. We stayed on for the sunset at Oia and were more than pleased with the arrangements to get home which were included in the cost. Would recommend this to anyone.

A mixed bag of success - A fabulous day on the Caldera. Well organised. Yannis the host/guide was brilliant. But the post Caldera bus trip to Oia for the sunset was chaos. No set buses so a stampede at the port by the hundreds on the boat to any bus we could find to take us. No buses organised to return us to our hotels. A total free for all with the tour operator having nothing in place leaving everyone to find their own way back to accommodation right across the island amongst the thousands who visit Oia for sunset every evening. It was a total goat rodeo. I would recommend this tour for the Caldera part but not the Oia extension. Do Oia sunset independently or as part of another, dedicated tour. It's worth doing but not with this operator. They took the money but did not deliver.

Good to understand the island formation, could be better guided - Guided tour up Nea Kameni was great, tour guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. If you choose to swim in the hot springs, it will stain your swimsuit if its white or very light colours. It would have been nice to have more time on Thirassia, we hiked up the path to eat at the top for lunch but didn't have enough time to explore Manolas (the main settlement on the island) The bus transfers were fine but having a guide explaining sites as we drove from the port near Fira to Oia would have added finishing touches. There was also no guidance or where to find the best spots for the sunset in Oia, we just followed the crowd and managed to get a good spot in the castle.

Wonderful landscape - Very nice place with free time On the other hand, I read that the meeting point was at the ferry. I went there by car and unfortunately I was not able to go at sunset since the bus did not take me back to the ferry. I had to pay for the whole day for nothing

Volcano with no sunset... - Getting tickets for the boat is totally disorganised and like a feeding frenzy around the ticket person with everyone trying to get their ticket. The volcano tour is great but tiring. The swimming is for approximately 10 minutes. Unfortunately the sunset in Oia was a bust due to cloud cover.

Beautiful, but disappointing in many ways. - I was really disappointed with what I saw. "The little houses" that we see in photos are nothing more than expensive hotels and restaurants for just a few. You have the right to travel there without paying, as everything else is paid for. The part of Fira (which would be the center of Ilha Ilha) is very crowded. The "beautiful" part is full of narrow alleys with stores mostly selling expensive products and lots of people walking around. The island has a beautiful view that can be enjoyed in two days. I don't think I'll ever go back to Santorini, but if I did I would stay at one of the Perissa or Kamari beaches, which are much more pleasant than Fira. It has good food at fair prices, a reasonable beach (because talking about beautiful beaches with Brazilians is a joke). What we find beautiful in these places is the color of the water and its transparency, this makes the place very beautiful. Transport is very easy, you can travel by bus to the main tourist attractions on the island and then walk and walk a lot, but it's really cool. Talking about the tourist attractions is raining on the wet, but what to see in Santorini: What everyone does is the sunset in OIA and pray for the weather to be cool and cloudless. Take a traditional boat trip that all operators offer (they are all the same, the stopping time will differ at each location, so choose according to your time and budget). Go to one of the two beaches mentioned above (Kamari - the one I liked best, and Perissa). Take a walk around the tourist center of Fira and of course take lots of photos of the sea and the slopes of Fira. Take the cable car down to go boating. At night, go to a church that stands out in Fira. If you stay in Fira, go to Kamari for a night, listen to some music, enjoy a good dinner and walk along the street along the beach.
