Highlights
  • Las Coloradas - Pick up from your Hotel to Las Coloradas (3-4 hrs transportation route). Admire the extraordinary pink lakes of Las Coloradas. Look at the birds that inhabit the place, like the beautiful flamingos. Explore the Salt Harvests our guides will explain to you everything you need to know.

In the Las Coloradas lagoon, salt has been extracted from the sea for decades. This area is home to the second-largest salt industry in the country. We are sure you will love to take out your camera as you will gasp at the sight of this beautiful and spectacular pink lagoon - you will have to see it to believe it!

The lagoon is not always bright pink, it depends on the sun and the stage of salt production. None of us can predict it. Swimming in Las Coloradas is strictly prohibited and can really hurt your skin.

  • Rio Lagartos - Then you will board a boat to begin the second part of the tour, a tour of Ria Lagartos through canals and lagoons. On this tour, you will go bird watching and observe beautiful pink flamingos, herons, pelicans, eagles, frigate birds, and geese, maybe even see some crocodiles if we are lucky! Before relaxing on an incredible beach, your skin will appreciate the benefits of a rejuvenating treatment in the most relaxing part of this exciting tour to Ria Lagartos, an authentic Mayan spa in the open air, with no more adornment or decoration than the imposing wild vegetation.

Lunch at Restaurant with dish to choose from. It is important to mention that all dishes are cooked to the highest quality standards. Then we will go back to Cancun or Riviera Maya.

Great tour, transportation 🤯 - In general, the activity was great, the guides were super friendly and attentive and the tours were super well planned and organized. My only drawback was the transportation since taking a trip of more than 3 hours in such a small and uncomfortable seat is very difficult. The transportation It is done in a van, my partner and I had to go to the back with two other girls and being a van the seats were very small, I came home with pain in my back, which is why I don't give them a 5 although it is a shame because In general, the guys' work is great, you really feel welcome

Would not recommend - The pink waters were fun to see but the tour itself was disorganized and not worth the hassle. Also set a negative tone when personal items/money went missing after being urge to leave belongings on bus for part of the tour. The drop off back at the hotel took way too long and again was very disorganized. Tour says up to 12 hours and it was well over 15 with all the driving. Best recommendation is see these places on your own much less of a headache.
