Take this tour! - From our driver Simon to our captain and crew, it was an incredible tour! The team watched out for us and pointed out sea life and was full of information. Highly recommended! Loved little Luigi too, the very sweet pet monkey of one of the guides, he was very playful and taken care of you can tell.

Would book again! - Had an amazing time, the lady who picked us up from the hotel was great, and on time. They reached out to us the day before and gave us a time they would pick us up. We got to meet Luigi before snorkeling. Our tour guides were super friendly and helpful, and we felt safe. They provided refreshments and snacks, the banana bread was really good! We held a starfish and saw the shipwreck with many beautiful fish around. We had an amazing time.

Great multi part tour by a family operated business - Family owned and operated business!! They show you the way the locals live and work which I appreciate, the touristy stuff isn’t for me so keep that in mind with this review! George picked us up at the bottom of the hill outside the port which was a little confusing but a quick phone call and text to the owner got that sorted out very quickly. George drove us around all day and told us all about the history of the island, about the local buildings, recent news and even some flora and fauna. This snorkel trip took us to three beautiful sites but was mostly unguided. There were only 4 of us on the tour which was ideal in my opinion, the other couple less experienced snorkelers. The first sight we were able to see starfish and the bottom was only 8 feet down so you could swim down very easily and check out the starfish. We were told if we were very careful and we could gently pick them up and place them back down to look at them up close under water. This was also a warm up snorkel. The second stop was a beautiful reef with a viewing area to a massive drop off. Didn’t get exact details on depth or anything like that because we kind of snorkeled alone. The person or “guide” was mostly just a captain who would then let us off the boat and then would go off snorkeling himself often not with us. We were free to explore the reef area ourselves. The drop off was incredibly impressive and, if you’re an experienced snorkeler and/or diver, was very cool to swim down and check out some of the formations. Very beautiful corals, not nearly as dead as other areas that have snorkeled. The third stop was a super rusty shipwreck that’s partially sticking out of the water, very close to the drop off. Didn’t get very many details on it again because he was just captain of the boat. He didn’t have lots of information for us about anything really. Nevertheless, it was super cool to swim amongst the wreck and around the corals that have grown onto the wreck and check out all the fish that now called this wreck home. After returning to the boat, we went back to the dock and learned that the wreck is over 100 years old, but that was really all he knew about it. Now in my opinion, not having a guide in the water is fine and I’m honestly more comfortable just snorkeling and exploring places, knowing where my boat is parked, and I can return you know within my timeframe when I’m ready, but for those less experienced that can be scary. The boat was small, older and “well loved” which doesn’t bother me because I’d rather do things the way the locals do but that’s not for everyone. George was waiting for us and we met Luigi, a super friendly monkey (pet of one of the owners) and got back in our chauffeured van. We added on ATV’s which was a fantastic addition. After a short ride with George again telling us about the things we passed on our way to the other side of the island we arrived at the family’s land. The ride took place in the hills behind their property and was expertly run by Angel and Tyrell, George’s brothers. They took us up and down the hills overlooking the other harbor where there happened to be a large cruise ship parked. The tour was just my bf and I and the two guys who made sure we were safe on the ATV’s as well as had a good ride. They also took video and pictures of us riding the hills and airdropped it to us for no extra charge. George then brought us back to our ship! Highly recommend this tour!

Very beautiful shipwreck - Very good experience. There are three different species of parrot fish in the shipwreck area. They are large and colorful. Thanks to our driver Grecia. After snorkeling, she took us to several restaurants to eat local coconut stewed conch, and then sent us back to the hotel.

Hidden Gem of an Adventure in Paradise - We had a fantastic adventure! Our guide for the day, Daniel, noticed our cruise ship arrived early so he made sure he was there to pick us up when we got off the boat. He then took us to some scenic overlooks and other points of interest because we were early. He was very nice, knowledgeable and we are lucky to have had him as our guide! The snorkeling was amazing and beautiful. I really like how we got to swim from where we viewed the starfish to the blue channel to admire all the scenery on the way. The guides on the boat were also great and friendly. After snorkeling we got to relax in the water (or boat) for a bit and they even let us jump off the top deck into the water. The ride back featured some wonderful homemade banana bread and juice to refresh us after the snorkeling and swimming. Daniel drove us back to our cruise ship and even asked if there was anyplace else we would like to see. You cannot go wrong with this adventure. The people are wonderful and the snorkeling is excellent! Also, we did not see any other groups where we stopped so it was as if we had the whole area to ourselves and there were only about 12 of us in the group (no one else from our cruise ship). Definitely a hidden gem!

Great Experience - My husband and I booked this tour during our time in Roatan and enjoyed it 100%. We were picked up promptly from our hotel and taken to the meetup location for the tour. The guides were attentive and friendly. Lifejackets, fins and masks were available for those who wanted/needed them. We wished the tour lasted longer but I understand it was probably so short because of so many people on cruises who booked the tour. Highly recommend!

Best Service and Experience - We booked the 3 snorkeling stops and Sloth/Monkey tour. Our private driver Daniel was amazing! Picked us up just outside the port, drove us through the city and gave us great insight on history and culture, escorted us to local markets for snacks and drinks, and finally took us to a great local restaurant for lunch. Luis (booking contact) and his team at the boar dock were so fun and truly care that customers get the best experience. They were extremely accommodating with proactive communication and excellent instructions. The team makes sure you feel safe and have a great time. Several of our friends booked through the cruise and reported having no flexibility or customization. If you're trying to decide between booking through the cruise or Roatan Five Stars, there is no comparison. Roatan Five Stars is better experience for less or equal cost!!

Beautiful sights, but be prepared to wait around a lot. - We arrived on time, got on our bus with 4 other people. About 20 minutes into the drive, the driver holds up a laminated schedule and says, "this is the zip lining we will be going to" We all spoke up and said "No! We are going snorkeling" so he got on his phone and then drove us to the beach. Once there, we had to wait an hour on the boat for another group of 4 people to join us. Then, while we were out at the 1st stop of snorkeling, we were just getting back on board when another group joined us making us wait another 20 minutes before we could leave for the 2nd stop. I understand trying to get the most people they can, but not at the expense of all the other people that arrived on time. We spent more time waiting than we did actually doing the excursion.

Not the Blue Channel near West End - We were very disappointed in this snorkle trip. You will only like it if you have not snorkled much. Starfish were scarce on a grassy bottom, then they had us swim about 100 yards to another shallow area with some coral but very few fish. Our last stop was also in shallow water to view the ship wreck with very few fish. That was it
