Monks brewed beer within the abbey walls, not just as a beverage, but as a means of sustaining themselves and their community. Over the centuries, Leffe beer became renowned not only for its exceptional taste but also for its connection to spirituality and craftsmanship.

Today, Maison Leffe continues this legacy, producing a range of iconic Belgian beers that captivate the senses with their depth of flavor and complexity. Well done Joris, unforgettable day! -      a minute ago Joris, our guide, was amazing! We spent a truly pleasant day with him in beautiful Dinant. Joris' stories were really interesting and he was also super good at entertaining our 10 year old son. Highly recommended, when we return to Belgium we will already know who to turn to. Excellent food (with tasting of Belgian beers included) and at a good price in the restaurant recommended to us by Joris

adventurous - Tour guide Joris took us to unique places in the Belgian Ardennes. On a beautiful nature walk of 15 km (we could determine the distance ourselves) we saw various wild animals such as foxes, deer and birds of prey. Then we visited charming Dinant where we tasted some delicious Belgian beers and Ardennes specialties. We can recommend it to everyone! Joris easily adapts to the wishes of the group, is funny and has a lot to say about the history of the neighborhood.
