Private transfers and tours - My husband and I, along with another couple, booked a private pick up from the airport with a 6 hour tour of Rome. My husband and I have visited Rome previously, but the couple we were traveling with had not. Manny, our driver, did an excellent job. He was waiting for us upon arrival, despite our flight arriving late. He spoke great English and navigated through Rome beautifully for us to see highlights of the city. The next day, we were picked up at our hotel by another awesome driver, Max, and driven to The Vatican, where we met Maria for our private Vatican tour. Max had perfect English and had a wealth of information to share about Roman history. Max was indeed a delight. Maria did an excellent job with our tour of The Vatican and St. Paul's Basilica. She maneuvered us through the crowds with precision and grace. Her knowledge and the way she engaged with us and shared information made our time with her most enjoyable. Luca was great with communication by email! His response was always very timely.

Awesome tour of Rome!!! - Our guide, Johnny was an absolute rock star! There was a national bike race going through Rome the day we had our tour and he navigated through everything with ease. We can’t say enough about utilizing the time to see a lot in a day, but also with such great history, info and humor. Highly recommend this tour and the knowledge these guides have. A must do if you are in Rome for a shorter period of time.

Great private tour in Rome and Pompeii!! - My friend and I had a total of three days in Rome and the Rome area, and our experience with these private tours was excellent! One of the days was a 12 hour day where we drove from Rome to the Amalfi coast and visited Positano and then Pompeii. Our guide, Sal was incredibly knowledgeable, very pleasant to be with and did a wonderful job explaining tons and tons of different history facts of Italy. We had a private tour guide in Pompeii and that was extraordinary as well. We then had two days of private tour in a van all around Rome. The first day was going over the more common areas of the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and the outside of the pantheon, as well as many other interesting sites. The second day that we spent in Rome was more about the places that are hidden and less commonly visited. There are too many things to list in this review, but we spent seven hours getting in and out of the van, seeing incredible sites and learning tons of history! My friend and I were very appreciative of all the details and all the time that was spent to make sure that we got a great experience. I can highly recommend this company. although not specifically inexpensive, we felt like we wanted to get the most out of our few days in Rome… And we certainly did!

Relax and go see Rome with the experts! - Our guide was so knowledgeable and fun! He took us to some great spots that he knew from growing up in Rome along with all the major sites. Loved the guided Vatican tour ….again our guide was just full of interesting information. I highly recommend the guided tour of the Vatican. With the skip the line passes it just makes that trip so much more enjoyable. Picked us up on the dot at the ship and had us back right on Time. Don’t hesitate this was a very professional company. Loved them!

Wonderful Experience! - Everything was fantastic for our full day tour by car for our family of 7! Max our driver and guide was wonderful and very accommodating to our schedule and needs and made a great suggestion to fit in the Basilica of St Paul which we didn't have on our plan. Thank you so much for everything!

First Class Service - Transfer from FCO to hotel was perfect…on time, professional, and courteous. Guided Rome tour was amazing. Driver was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Vatican guide was also professional and knowledgeable. All transfers and tours from this company are highly recommended. First class service!!!

All Day Tour of Rome - This was a full day tour. Our tour guide was Michael. He was prompt, the van was immaculately clean and he managed to get us to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain before the crowds, which was amazing. He took us to areas our friends, who have been to Rome many times and felt they did not need a tour, were not aware of. He brought us to a restaurant for lunch that we would never have found on our own and waited patiently while we ate and relaxed among mostly locals, with very few tourists. He navigated the serious traffic and roads patiently and was an impressive driver. If we were to tour Rome again or have friends who plan to come we would recommend any of the Rome Private Excursion tours. Our next trip to Rome (next year) will be more of the area outside Rome and we already asked Michael if he did the Amalfi Coast/Sorrento/Pompeii and Tuscany areas. We were happy to hear that he does. We will book those tours when the trip is finalized and hopefully be able to get Michael as our guide again.

This company is GREAT! - I would not be able to have visited Rome with out your service and the driver we had, John. He realized, right away, that I walk with a cane and pulled me up as close as possible to every monument on the tour. The Vatican guide was Maria Lara and she was so helpful, I would never of made it without her. I’m saving your telephone numbers so I can refer other people!

Fantastic tour - We had an awesome time on this tour. Our guides managed to fit in all the highlights of Rome in the one day that we had available. There knowledge and love that they had for this great city really came through.

Fantastic Way to See Rome Efficiently! - We thoroughly enjoyed our day spent with Rome Private Excursions! We arrived before a one week "regular tour" and wanted to see some of the out-of-the-way sights that were not on our tour. We were able to select our own sites, and our driver also showed us many other wonderful areas of the city. We chose at tour of the Galleria Borghese with Dooing, by Get-Your-Guide - it was AMAZING! We also went to Castel Saint Angelo, the site of Emperor Hadrian's Mausoleum. Our driver was always RIGHT THERE, to pick us up and drop us off, at each site. He quickly got us around the Rome Marathon that was taking place that day, with many streets blocked off. Overall reliable, pleasant and knowledgeable!!!
