To customise your experience, you can choose to visit the Catacomics on the Appia Antica, or the Roman Aqueducts. All you need is to make the right options during the booking process.

Dont' miss this lovely reprieve from the crowded streets of Rome - This was our favourite tour in Rome. We were not sure what to expect but ended up loving this so much. The bikes are so easy to work. Was a nice break from the crowds to get outside the walls and into the Roman countryside. Loved hearing the history of other parts of Rome and learning how the aquaducts came to be so impressive! Don't miss this tour.

Great bike tour of the Via Apia! - Great tour, excellent guide, highly recommended! The tour took us riding on e-bikes from the banks of the Tiber north of the city, across the historic center to the Circus Maximus, next on to the Catacombs of Calixtus, where we took in the guided tour, and finally on to the Via Appia, after which we rode back across the city to where we had begun. It was a great, four-hour-plus tour, with some special site seeing, and a mixture of city and countryside biking. This was our first experience with e-bikes. The equipment was excellent, and the tour was a perfect intro to using electronic assists. Our guide, Noam, was excellent. He adapted the pace for us, explained well how to use the bikes, provided informative descriptions of sites, answered our questions well, and was warm, engaging and attentive throughout. Riding through the city could have been stressful, but Noam made it easy.

Great day out, wonderful way to see Rome. - I booked this trip for my 14 year son and I, but then got a bit nervous about whether I had been rash, given the somewhat hectic traffic conditions in Rome. But I needn't have worried - much of our route was along the river Tiber, or else on cycle paths. The electric bikes made it a doddle. It was a great way to see Rome and to cycle in the footsteps of St Peter down the Appian Way. Great also to have explanations of the sights we saw en route. I last visited the Catacombs in 1988 and they have lost none of their magic and mystery. My son thought 'it was alright' - high praise indeed from him :)

Thrilled with our unique Rome experience with Bicycle Roma - Thrilled with our Rome e-bike tour! As seasoned Rome visitors, we craved a fresh experience, and this tour delivered. Our guide was superb—knowledgeable, personable, and ensured our enjoyment throughout. Exploring the heart of Rome, including cycling around the Colosseum, then venturing to the picturesque Appian Way, was undeniably a highlight, providing an unmatched view of historic Rome. A must-do experience—highly recommend!

Cycling the Appian Way, aqueducts and Rome - brilliant - Brilliant trip from start to finish and would thoroughly recommend it. Sabrina our tour guide was superbly knowledgeable, and allowed plenty of time for us to stop and look at the various attractions. Cycling was a great way to see the Appian Way and the aqueducts, and we also had a great experience cycling through the middle of Rome (despite the mad traffic !). The bikes were great, and I am pleased we had e-bikes, as some of the route was certainly up hill ! All aspects of trip organisation and communication were also very good.

E-bike ride through Rome and the Appian Way - Great guide. Really competent cyclist and we felt safe on the roads and trails. Also very knowledgeable. Interesting cycling through the middle of Rome. Didn’t go to the Catacombs but the experience was excellent. Only problem we had was that one of the e-bikes needed some attention but overall a great afternoon 😊

Difficult start and finish (dealing with traffic in Rome), but overall pleasant experience - Once we finally got out of the city and off the busy streets of Rome, the tour was great. Unfortunately, riding through the congested streets and trying to stay together while dodging cars, pedestrians and other cyclists was SUPER stressful. We both cycle at home (e-bike for errands, road bike for exercise) and neither of us were comfortable on this part of the tour. One of our bikes was a little 'out of tune' as well, but that had limited impact on our experience. If you are not COMPLETELY comfortable riding an e-bike, we strongly suggest you look for a tour that starts further outside the city. Also, our tour guide had a bit of a challenge on our English tour with the addition of a parent-teenager who were from France. Initially, he tried to cover both languages separately, but part way through the tour, the family from France told him that English was fine for them, so that made his task a little easier. That being said, seeing the sites (Aqueducts, Roman Baths, Catacombs and Appian Way) while getting an understanding of the importance of these sites from our guide made for an amazing 'middle' to our tour!
