It is all about Guide Richard!! - It is all about Richard!!! He is an amazing guide, and a fantastic person. My family (wife plus 8 and 10 year olds) loved the experience. Great information, pace, safety, and fun. We had some interaction with the owner. He rubbed us wrong in dealing with an equipment issue. But, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the experience if you get Richard. Just make sure you are comfortable with your bike and it is working well at the start.

A superb moment - We spent a wonderful afternoon visiting the Appia Way. Friendly moment and we are amazed. Visit to the catacombs, aqueduct, stroll in a park and of course on the Appian Way. Both guides were very friendly. Evening meal, in the middle of a very pleasant park. To advice. For all ages...

Awesome experience - This was an awesome thing to do. Our guide was great. She was attentive to our group. She even offered to take pictures of us along the way. This was an experience we will always remember. The picnic was okay. I would have appreciated it to be a little more comfortable with seating but it was good. Thanks so much for treating us all to this experience we will never forget.

Great country side bike ride - We booked the E-bike tour via the Red Bicycle website directly and it worked fine. We showed up and was quickly geared up with our Ebikes. Richard, our guide, was lighhearted and made the experience enjoyable. The ride itself was beautiful and serene. The lunch/picnic was really tasty and amount of food just enough to get you through the end of the trip (~2pm). Would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the country side!

FUN ... FUN ... FUN ... - You will absolutely LOVE this bike ride. If you can ride a bike, you can do this tour. My family LOVED this tour as we biked through the Appia Antica and the surrounding parks. Beautiful. You will never see Rome like this without going on this tour.

A Must Do Experience - This was the tour I had been waiting to do and I was not disappointed. The journey takes you through the most wonderful scenery and you immediately feel like you’re going through time as you head beyond the gates of Rome. Our guide, Iman, was brilliant- he is studying Classics at University and his passion and knowledge was beyond my expectations. He ooozes love for the ancient Roman world and it’s infectious. We are on the last leg of a 5 week holiday in Europe and this has been the highlight for me. The e-bike is super easy - and I just had knee surgery 6 mths ago. Loved the bike so much that I might buy one when I get home. The roads get bumpy but your on an ancient road so it’s expected and it is part of the adventure. Wear comfy clothes and extra padding 😉 The catacombs were a bonus. To Iman - thank you for the most amazing experience and for making my dream to ride the Appian Way come true. Your kindness and knowledge about the aqueducts and ancient Roman history will always make me smile. We had such a wonderful day with you that we will never forget 🙏🤗 Katie and Andrew - Australia.

Highly recommend! - We had a great day on our e-bike tour. Glenn is a personable and fun guide. It was rainy, but we didn't let it keep us from having a fun trip. I'm recommending this exact trip to some friends who are going to Rome in a few months! It was nice to get out of the crowds of Rome for a few hours. I highly recommend.

Unprofessional and unreliable - The tour at 09.00 hrs was canceled because of ‘bad weather’ (the forecast had changed but they had made their decision at least a day in advance) but this was only communicated to us at 23.00 hrs the night before via whats app. Their excuse was they called us once(!) before via an unknown phone number at 12.00 hrs. Not a single excuse, no sorry at all. We were told to take their afternoon tour or cancel. When we told them we disagreed with how this was handled & this did not align with our plans, they told us they would cancel it and hung up! Overall very unprofessional and unreliable; I would not recommend this company!!
