Wonderful - From the time of pick up, we were fully informed of what was to happen during the day. The local tour guide we picked up is very knowledgeable in the events and the structures of Pompeii

A trip not to be missed. - The trip was expertly run with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even a change in the transportation due to an event in Pompeii didn’t affect the experience. We were taken to the train station in Napoli to finish our outward journey and it went very smoothly. Mara the co-ordinator was fabulous. The included lunch was also very good.

Pompei in a day - Well organised trip
Pompei was excellent
I emailed about various details and found Grayline to be very helpful.
I think though that you should mention you are not allowed to eat on the bus- with an early start this information would have been useful.

It was more than we expected. - The guide (Bruno) was very good and responsible in his schedules, very explanatory in his narration of the history of Naples and Pompeii, Mateo, who accompanied us on the great trip.

Excellent Day Trip - This trip was amazing. The pick up from the hotel was on time and the coach was clean and comfortable. The guide Fabiano was so knowledgeable and made Pompeii come alive. We also saw some of Naples and were able to take some panoramic photographs of the bay. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience life in an ancient Roman city. You will not be disappointed.

Great day trip! - We both enjoyed this day trip that included a scenic tour of Naples and then a few hours at Pompeii. The trip was a long one, but we managed to have a 5 minute stop in Naples to enjoy the view. We ate a 3-course lunch at Pompeii before enjoying the sight with our insightful tour guide. The journey was pleasant enough, we had occasional Italian music playing on the bus and we stopped a couple of times for a break. Only thing I would say is to get better air condition on the coach as it was extremely hot but the air conditioning on the coach was not powerful enough. All in all a fantastic day, we were taken care of, and I recommend!

Fantastic tour of Pompeii - Amazing tour of Pompeii. Really interesting and engaging tour guide. Entertaining throughout despite the weather. Lots of interesting tales of the city and its history. Engaged well with the group, asking questions as well as answering them. Lots of quirky, funny stories from the past that really brought the area to life. Thoroughly recommend

Disappointing. Not recommended for families with kids. - The tour guides and driver were great but unfortunately you get less than 2 hours actually at Pompeii which is nowhere near enough time.
More time could easily be spent at Pompei if it were not for excessive long stops on the way including a forced stop at a weird souvenir store.
Would not recommend for families with small kids as we lost our tour group early on due to struggling to keep up with the rushed pace.
