- Museo delle Mura - From the Museum it is possible to access a long stretch, about 350 meters long, of a walkway on the walls, which looks like a covered gallery spaced out by ten towers, ending at the top with an open walkway sheltered by battlements. Kids-Friendly Guided Tour of Roman Catacombs - We thoroughly enjoyed the private guided tour to the Eternal City with our kids last month! Caterina, our professional art historian and English-speaking live guide offered us hotel pick-up and drop-off.
Customizing the entire tour itinerary for our family including my son aged 7, she helped us to go beyond the typical ruins and museums. Caterina revealed all the entertaining fun facts about aqueducts, ancient city walls, and mysterious underground catacombs.
She also kept my son engaged with trivia, games, and puzzles with interactive adventure. The 3-hour tour also offered entry to Museo delle Mura and Catacombe di Santa Domitilla. Fully recommend Caterina, and Tour in the City!!
