- Campo de’ Fiori - Your tour will start from Campo dè Fiori Square where you will learn about the history of this medieval place is the historic center of Rome. There you will visit one of Rome’s most famous farmers markets with local produce, flowers and delicacies. At this stop you will sample local specialties such as balsamic vinegar, truffles, olive oils and limoncello. After the market you will get to taste a platter with salumi, cheese and prosciutto from Norcia, the finest cuts of cured meat from a family-business shop since 1890.
- Piazza Navona - After having crunch pizza on a local bakery from 1824 and a rich lunch among the ruins of Rome’s most ancient theater around Campo dè Fiori area, we will head to the Navona square for the dessert time. Try the Roman’s most beloved dessert, Tiramisù while you get fascineted about the history of Piazza Navona and its beautiful Baroque style with the 3 fountains.
- Basilica di Sant’Eustachio - Admire the beauty of Basilica di Sant’Eustachio (from outside). At this stop you will try the real Italian coffee just like the Italians do from a coffee shop in the heart of the city center which keeps its traditions since 1938 serving organic coffee.
- Pantheon - On you way to the Pantheon indulge artisanal ice cream from a local gelateria with 100% natural ingredients. Best food tour! - Barbara was wonderful. The best and most knowledgeable guide. She took us to so many fantastic places for food and wine. In fact she recommended 2 of the absolute best fancy restaurants for dinners during our stay!

A wonderful experience with Mateo. - We had a wonderful experience on the tour with Mateo. It was above our expectations with a good mix of Italian history and cuisine. The group dynamic was great, Mateo did a great job uniting the group and we had a lot of fun on the way. The tour is indeed worth the money and you get a high quality experience both food and information wise.

Great experience! Lots of walking and standing. - This was a great experience led by Fabritzia! In the market we tasted cheese and sausage at one booth, balsamic vinegar and truffle condiments at another. This was followed by a meat stare with wine! Then pizza and a small taste of local beer. After we walked to lunch served in the basement of a wonderful restaurant that houses ancient Roman artifacts. The food was great, plentiful and paired with white or red wine. Next off to tiramisu then finally gelato followed by the Pantheon and then the fountain. Very fun and informative. If you have mobility issues or walking ~2 miles and standing at most stops then this one may not be for you.

Did not go! - There was a confusion… I was told it was cancelled. And then I was told it was not? I don’t know it we didn’t not go because we cancelled because I thought it was cancelled?
