A must see - The museums were beyond spectacular. The Sistine Chapel was absolutely amazing. The access to St Peter’s saves you hours of time. Polina was our guide and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and took her time to explain the most important aspects of the museums and Sistine chapel.

Worth the time and money, but plan ahead! - Completely worth the early morning (8a) tour schedule and the cost of the "skip the line" option. Our guide moved us smoothly past long lines and through rooms and rooms of absolutely breathtaking opulence, art and architecture in the Vatican Museum. While personal space at the Museum and Sistine Chapel was limited, we did not feel like we we terribly rushed or packed in so tightly that we could barely move, although the Sistine Chapel is small and it can get tight. But if you have the right attitude, it's a great experience. Our guide gave us a lot of things to look for in the Chapel paintings before going in, but guides are not allowed to speak while there. Be sure to allow several hours of free time afterward to wander around St. Peter's Basilica.

Eye-opening Tour for a first time visit to Rome - Asunta was so knowledgeable and explained everything so well. She kept us very attentive with the museum displays from the statues to the tapestries. Asunta highlighted the importance of the works from floor to ceiling. The tour was worth the price. For a first visit to Rome, we're glad we chose this tour.

Small group tour of Vatican City - We did a guided tour of Vatican City during our recent trip to Rome. Our guide, Nicoletta, was absolutely amazing! Nicoletta was extremely knowledgeable and very mindful of our small group’s safety during the entire tour. Nicoletta did a wonderful job of navigating us through the overwhelming works of art.

Good way to get the best of the Vatican museums - Lorely was a really knowledgeable and helpful guide, pointing out lots of parts that you would miss if visiting yourself. At the end of the tour we were able to access a passageway which took us from the Sistine chapel straight into the front of St Peter’s basilica and so bypassing the very long security line there which was great.

Excellent Tour - Our tour guide, Marcello, made this experience extremely memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the guided tour ran very smoothly. He was also very witty and the touch of humor made it a more enjoyable tour! Even though he couldn’t get us an appointment with the Pope, we still had a great time.

Awesome tour and guide! - Marcello was an amazing tour host. Not only was he knowledgeable about the history, sites and art he introduced us to he was enthusiastic, energetic, and really enjoyed his profession. I would not only recommend Trip Advisor for your future tour experiences as it was an organized thorough process. I would highly recommend requesting Marcello as your guide.

Never a dull moment - My wife and I went to see the Vatican mainly for the art and architecture and the history. Our tour guide, Sarah, was knowledgeable and super-qualified. She did a brilliant job of explaining it all in an entertaining and interesting way. There was never a dull moment. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
