Fun way to explore food in Rome - Such a fun way to explore Rome on our first night with a food tour with Chiara from The Roman Food Tour. She was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable of the area and about the foods provided. She has a great personality and was engaging with everyone in the group. She had a great relationship with the restaurants visited. We would highly recommend for the future. Go hungry because you will be fed!!

A great tour - This was my third wine and food tour while I have been in Italy - the other 2 being in Florence and Venice (with different operators). I liked this one the best of the 3. The food and wine were excellent, everyone was having a good time and I felt as our Guide, Ottavia was a great host ensuring that everyone had a good time.

Great dinner tour - Great guide, great food, enjoyable co-participants. All of the locations were great and the variety of food excellent. Frankly, could not finish last slice of pizza because we were too full.

Fantastic tour. Can’t recommend highly enough. - Fantastic tour. Highly recommend. Went to four amazing restaurants and had wonderful food. Pace was very good. Our tour guide. Deborah was one of the best guides we’ve ever had on any tour. She was knowledgeable, personable, engaging and funny. As we ate the different dishes, we were able to learn about their authentic Italian cuisine and history. Found some new favorite restaurants. Our group was a lot of fun and we made some new friends. Come hungry.

Excellent first part - When you have top mark on Tripadvisor, the expectations are also sky high. So were mine. The tour started really well. Nice and energetic guide, good small bits of food with decent wine, and even presentations from the restaurant staff. 1st stop Suppli and Trappizino. The Suppli were really delicious. 2nd stop antipasti with both black and white truffles. Really so good. Interesting to compare Prosciutto di Parma (Italy) with Jamón Ibérico (Spain). Good wine. Then the promised tasting of small pizza slices and portions of pasta had been changed to a full dish of pasta, where you could choose one of three varieties. Not so very educational, and by now, we were all quite full. No one finished their dishes. The guide seemed to have less to explain about puzza or pasta in Italy. Last stop Gelato. Good taste, but the promised explanation of how to distinguish real gelato from fake (and other things about this world famous Italian dish) were not delivered. So, in summary, excellent start, but it went a bit downhill in the latter part of our tour.
