THE Oil Mill designed by Philippe Starck stands as the first signature oil mill in the world, fusing tradition, modernity and gastronomy in a single place: the Sierra de Ronda. This space has been designed to highlight the culture and history of one of the emblematic products of Spanish gastronomy, with the collaboration of Philippe Starck, a prominent international designer.

LA Almazara LA Organic allows you to witness directly the process of cultivation and transformation of olive oil in an avant-garde building that has its own museum, tasting areas or auditorium for events in an incomparable setting, the Sierra de Ronda. Philippe Starck new museum in Ronda - It was a beautiful journey into the world of olive trees and oils. The museum is still under construction. We found it good even before opening and still far from perfection to be allowed to see the rooms. The tour was done well and entertainingly by a young woman. Finding the entrance was more difficult. Our sat nav led us to a locked gate. There we had to scan the code which then showed us the way to the parking lot.( about 3 min driving distance) Our group consisted. of 5 people so very clear. Good luck visiting,

Experience organic olive oil tasting - When enter the Greenhouse/Shop/Tasting room, we watched a short presentation video in Spanish with English subtitles. It was informative and short. This was fallowed by a tour (ours was in English & Spanish as one of our party only spoke Spanish) of the gardens and olive groves. It was explained to us that they are completely organic and also grow a variety of plants and herbs to attract bees & pollinators. It was quite warm so the outdoor portion wasn’t too long. We were also shown a room that had small processing machines to show us what the modern way of processing & filtering is done. Afterwards we were taken back to the tasting area where we learned how to taste several different types of olive oil. There is also the ability to purchase different meats and cheeses, plus their delicious products. It is well worth the experience while visiting Ronda, which is an amazingly beautiful Andalusian city.

Worth a visit for tour and lunch - A very pleasant and informative tour that began with an information film about the farm. Then we tasted the farm's four different olive oils and vinegar. All were of very high quality. Then we ate their lunch menu with various charcuterie, cheese, fruit and Boquerones in vinegar which was very good
