Love it - We did the tour with Ngati (The guide with a very long name) and it was absolutely wonderful. His knowledge and passion for the subjects of nature, the Maori God's and history was infectious. Ge has a beautiful smile and singing voice. We loved doing the carving and of course the hot pools! Highly recommend.

must do this makes your body feel amazing - From the beginning to the end we loved the mud baths ans the spa. Made us feel so much better once we got out. Maybe next time we won't do this in the middle of winter though it was freezing in between baths and showers

Fun in the mud! - Birthday surprise for my Wife. First time in mud... Fun as! Spa was nice & relaxing with a Beautiful back drop of gysers as sun was setting...Stunning! The plunge pool with little water fall was nice & cold! An awesome experience. Will definately return. However, the smell of sulphur is still lingering after 2 days. LOL!! Fabulous time. The team were awesome. I do hope the Brother that left his chips in the oven all day decided o get a pie!!... Or donated his chips to make a fence some where!! 😂

Beautiful - If you ever get the chance do the tour guide to have a much better understanding on what where when and how it all formed. We had a lovely guide Luke very knowledgeable, the whole team were very hospitable. After the walk we got to Doo SA some carving and then had an amazing mud spa, cold water plunge and then a nice mineral soak.

Very nice baths and spa - The baths and spas were very relaxing, it was not too crowded, so it was perfect. I give 4 stars only because they haven't booked the shuttle I asked, but still, the staff was very nice and friendly

Great fun but be aware of the effects on the eyes from the minerals in the water - We had a great time relaxing in hot mud pools, lathering mud over our face and bodies, jumping into an ice cold plunge pool with waterfall and then finally relaxing in more hot pools. The only downside was the minerals/sulphur in the water really stung the eyes so it would have been great if we were advised to avoid wiping our eyes or putting mud too close to them as my husband literally covered his entire face in mud and spent the rest of the day and night suffering with burning, runny eyes...
