Skim through the spectacular sky as you glide across the fairy-tale like forests. The white-coated landscapes reflect the moon and star lights, bright enough for the Huskies to lead the way. Great experience - This experience was really fantastic. It was so terrific to meet the Huskys, an unforgettable experience. Our guides Aldo and Chris were great as well. I recommend Nordic Unique Travels, I have enjoyed many activities with them this week, everything is well organized and this is a once in a lifetime experience ❤️

husky at night - We did this activity with a guy from Taiwan, he took good care of us. Regarding the activity, it is incredible, but we did not enjoy it to the fullest because we could not see the aurora, in addition to the cold we experienced... I think it is worth it as long as There is a possibility of seeing auroras, if not it is better to do it during the day. But I think it is an activity that must be done.

Exiting evening tour - The husky ride was amazing, as was meeting the dogs afterwards. The sleigh driver/owner was wonderful and had plenty of time to chat. Driving on the lake at night was also great. For the price though the BBQ was very lacking, although our guides were very friendly.

Nice experience with shortcomings... - We had booked the Northern Lights hunt with a husky sleigh. About a day before, the organizer called us to say that the event we had booked (husky sleigh, Northern Lights, barbecue) could not take place after 5 p.m. due to problems with one of the husky farms. Instead, we were offered a regular tour at 3 p.m. - as we were only spending two nights in Rovaniemi, we agreed. We would be reimbursed around €60 (hasn't arrived yet). The tour was estimated to take 3 hours. There were around 30 people in the office, but only one person at the counter. Everything seemed a bit chaotic. We didn't leave the office until around 3:15 p.m., the journey there took 20 minutes. There we were able to look at reindeer from outside for another 20 minutes, as our turn wasn't until 4 p.m. We then received a safety briefing (very useful!), were divided into groups or pairs and distributed to the sleighs. We drove around a frozen lake, halfway through we changed and the accompanying guides took a few photos. The whole trip took about 20 minutes. After that we were allowed to spend about 5 minutes with "our" dogs before we were chased into the lounge to tell us a few things about the farm over biscuits and hot juice. We would have liked to be able to choose whether we wanted to join in or walk around the kennels instead. Generally, the description suggests that you spend 3 hours with the huskies, but in reality it is only about 30 minutes. 40 minutes transfer time for only 20 minutes sleigh ride and without enough time with the dogs at a price of about 160€ per person is pretty extreme. Now for the good part: The sleigh ride was a lot of fun and the dogs were very enthusiastic. At least we were able to thank them after the trip with a few cuddles. The experience itself is great and we wouldn't want to miss it. But perhaps the framework conditions could be improved.

Not worth the money - We were picked up 40 minutes late to the experience. Once there, we did not go first for the ride and could then enjoy a little snack but were split and we had to wait 30 mins in the tent. Then we had the ride and it all felt very rushed. We had the chance for only a short picture before the owner told her staff that the next guests are already waiting. I asked the owner a question and she did not reply. Not warm or friendly at all. We then had to wait additional 25 mins after the ride and ask the driver several times before we were brought back to the city. Not worth the money (shorter time than mentioned), no explanation about any details. Felt like a ride not worth than 100EUR - but if you sell this for almost the double price, offer your guests a good experience.

Cramped sledding - The sled ride was only 25 mins which actually turned out to be a blessing because we were cramped on a sled with another couple (not fun having a random dude sitting in your lap). On top of that because the other couple were sitting in front of us all in one line we barely got to see the pups driving the sled. Didn’t see the northern lights but that’s out of anyone’s control. For the experience itself despite the northern lights, I would not recommend.

Should have been a great experience - crap delivery - we were cheated - The driver to the venue was great, as was the husky musher. The owner was flat rude, didn't introduce herself, told us nothing about the dogs or the place, simply told us what we couldn't do where we couldn't go and left! This trip is a 40 min drive out + 40 min back with a sausage for dinner in a teepee (the fire was not lit when we arrived) fifteen minutes around a track in open ground (no forest) and back for a marsh mellow. We were scammed!

Unreliable provider, pure rip-off - Beware of rip-offs!!! If it were possible I would give -5 stars. Pure mass processing We booked the husky tour with northern lights and BBQ. The stated duration was 3.5 hours. Our schedule was as follows: We took a 45-minute bus ride to the farm from the provider. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and had to get on the sleigh straight away. Four of us were crammed onto the sleigh, with the two at the back, i.e. us, unable to see anything. We all had to slide together, which was very uncomfortable. We were not allowed to drive the sleigh ourselves as we were offered. It also did not go into the wilderness as described, but only a short circuit on a path around a small lake. The trip took a maximum of 15 minutes. Then we got off, took a quick photo and went into the tepee, as 20 others were already waiting. The tent was for maybe 8 people. We stood in it with twice as many people. The traditional Finnish BBQ that was advertised was, believe it or not, a sausage!!! No bread, no corn on the cob as advertised. Because the weather wasn't that good, we unfortunately couldn't see the Northern Lights. So we hoped that we would at least get some information about the phenomenon. The guide who wanted to tell us about the Northern Lights had no idea what he was actually saying. After this short time in the tepee, we got back on the bus and headed back. We stopped for 15 minutes in one place to see if we could still see the Northern Lights. It was much too bright there, all you could see was the street lights. The guide should have known that. All in all, we were hungry and returned to the provider after about 2.5 hours. It's crazy when you consider that we thought we would be out in the "wilderness" for longer. The whole thing cost us 460 euros! A disgrace for this service. The best is yet to come: Nobody on site cares how you liked it. BUT After a few days we get a call from Nordic Unique Travels with the following offer: We will refund you 50% if you improve your rating. I refused and told the lady that this was a scam and that I was not for sale. I also told her that she should think of the families who save up for a long time for their vacation and want to experience something with their children and then have to go through something like this. She asked us again to at least delete the review in return for a 50% refund. We refused that too. Be careful with this provider so that you don't get ripped off!!! We booked here because we only read positive reviews. Apparently all of them are bought. To those who get an offer like this, don't get involved. I have never written a review in my life, but I can't expect vacationers to do that. Never again Nordic Unique Travels!!!
