No earlier experience is needed as it is easy and comfortable.\n\nDuring this 1 hour safari we traverse snowy wilderness forests and feel the fun of driving modern snowmobiles. This is an experience of a life time! It is possible to drive or sit as passenger or in the sleigh as you prefer.\n\nThe snowmobiles used are modern silent and ecological snowmobiles that are very easy to drive.\nFor driving on public tracks you need an international driving license. Right hand traffic regulations are valid on public tracks. It is possible to drive on waterways and private areas without driving license by request. Amazing experience ! - We are in Lapland for 1 week and we book all our activities with Lapland Welcome. We done already 2 of them : husky safari and snowmobile driving and I had to say that we never had guide tours as wonderful as them. It’s like private experience and not with a huge group. Guides are really kind and careful. They pick you at the hotel and then arrange everything. You just have to relax and enjoy. For snowmobile we were during 4 hours only 3: my husband, the guide and me. We could appreciate all the tour. It was an amazing experience and I really recommend this company ! Thank a lot to them for that!

Avoid Lapland welcome at all costs. - We were picked up at accommodation taken to put on their thermal gear then driven to the spot opposite Santa Claus village. Taken on a short ride. I paid for three adults for snowmobile, snacks, drinks, BBQ, husky play time and feed reindeer. I was offered drinks in carpark at the very end of tour. I spoke with the owner of the company named Veli he told me they don't offer and of the other stuff besides the snowmobile and to take it up with booking operator. I feel this company Lapland welcome do this to lure people in and there's nothing I can do because they've already taken my money. I only booked this because I have two teens with special needs one more severe than other and though this was ideal for them. Wildly disappointed. Nico our tour guide was a gentleman.
