Amazing hike! - Was all organised very well, offered pickup and drop off to my hostel and drove me to the start point with my guide. My guide Cho was very friendly and encouraging and happy to take breaks and go at any pace. The lunch that was provided was a feast with loads of fruit and meats and bread. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t amazing so the views were hidden but I would recommend regardless. Option to hike back down or go in the cable car.

Challenging Hike - Hiking Mount Fansipan during the rainy season presents unique challenges and rewards, adding an extra layer of adventure to an already thrilling experience. Here’s an account of my one-day trek to the summit amidst the rain-soaked landscape. ### Early Morning Start My journey began in the early morning from Sapa, a town known for its picturesque vistas and rich cultural heritage. Despite the rain, I was determined to conquer the "Roof of Indochina." Equipped with waterproof gear, sturdy boots, and a reliable guide, I set off at dawn to make the most of the daylight hours. ### Initial Ascent The hike commenced with a gradual ascent through a lush, rain-drenched forest. The trail was slippery and muddy, requiring cautious steps. The early morning mist combined with the rain created an ethereal atmosphere, with the sound of raindrops and the sight of water dripping from leaves enhancing the sensory experience. ### Steeper Climb As we climbed higher, the trail became more challenging. The rain intensified, and the path turned into a series of small streams and muddy patches. Navigating through these conditions was demanding, requiring careful footing and the use of trekking poles for stability. The dense bamboo forests provided some shelter, but the climb was strenuous and slow. ### Reaching the Summit Reaching the summit of Mount Fansipan in the rainy season felt like a monumental achievement. The peak, often shrouded in clouds, provided a dramatic and mysterious ambiance. Despite the limited visibility, standing at 3,147 meters above sea level was incredibly rewarding. The sense of accomplishment was heightened by the challenging conditions faced along the way. ### Conclusion Hiking Mount Fansipan during the rainy season is not for the faint of heart. The trail is slippery and demanding, requiring a high level of fitness and preparedness. However, the rewards are immense. The rain-soaked landscape is breathtakingly beautiful, and the sense of achievement upon reaching the summit in such conditions is unparalleled. For those seeking an extra dose of adventure and the chance to experience the raw, untamed beauty of Fansipan, hiking during the rainy season is an unforgettable experience.

1st hiking experience made more memorable with a proficient guide - My 1st hiking trip, and it was memorable. Glad to have the experienced female guide (Ser, I am not sure if her name is spelt as such) guiding my good friend and I along the way to the top. Ser was very professional yet pleasant and patient. She was also very attentive, and she noticed that I had a headache as we were climbing higher. She immediately offered me paracetamol for it. (thank goodness she noticed, which I deeply do appreciated a lot😊) Ser even taught us some of the plants along the way, which makes the hike interesting. On & off, she also shows us ladies concern, such as are we alright with the pace, are we tired, etc. I would recommend her to be the guides for amateur hikers😊

Great experience - It was a great hike to the summit. You should be in good physical condition, it’s very exhausting but it’s worth. Our tour guide Sing was excellent, he told us many facts and stories about the hill and the local life. He also made use very tasty food on the 2nd base camp. We had cloudy weather and a little bit of rain but that did not really matter, it’s fantastic anyway :)

We had an extremely... - We had an extremely challenging but memorable trek to Fansipan. We took more than 7 hours to complete the trek and took multiple breaks but the guide Mr Chay was very patient with us. He also prepared and served an excellent traditional lunch at the base camp. So glad that we booked this once in a lifetime experience!

Great experience - I travelled alone and I booked a one-day trek to Fansipan. I can only recommend it! The communication with them was very easy going and this makes a difference. They are punctual and professional. I’ve got very lucky with me your guide, Seu, who was very careful and mindful, being patient and a very pleasant company. I felt like I went hiking with a friend. Great guy! If you want to reach the top of Fansipan, which I totally recommend, you can trust 100% these guys.
