Highlights
  • Notre Dame Cathedral - At 3,143 meters, Mount Fansipan is the highest mountain in Indochina and an absolute must-see for adventurous hikers. Located in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range in Vietnam’s Lao Cai province, it is the tallest peak of the entire mountain range and offers some of the best hiking trails in South East Asia. Mount Fansipan’s summit rewards travelers with stunning views of the surrounding area - from lush green forests to cascading waterfalls. Due to its rugged terrain, challenging climbing routes and unpredictable weather, Mount Fansipan has earned itself a reputation as one of the most difficult peaks to climb in Indochina. But for those up for a challenge, a successful ascent would make a unique and unforgettable experience. For visitors to Sapa, a trek up Mount Fansipan - which can be completed over one to two days or three days - should not be missed!

An unforgettable experience - Khai was very responsive in organizing the trip and was flexible to meet our constraints. He also took care of booking bus tickets which was very convenient. The trek was magnificent, the level of difficulty adapted and we took paths with few tourists. Khai is super friendly and provided us with many explanations. The homestay was great, comfortable and we met great people with the other guides, the owner and other tourists. Thanks Khai!!

Fantastic - My partner and I had a fabulous trip with Khai. Communication before the trip was excellent and Khai confirmed the meeting time the night before. The whole trip was very professional. khai gave us opportunities to rest and provided us with knowledge along the way. Khai also adjusted the itinerary so that we would be back in time for the bus. I would recommend Khai and his team. We also booked the Mt Fanispan hike through a different outfit but found out later it was one of Khai guides that took us up. In would recommend booking direct through Khai.

Only shared pleasure - A big thank you to Khai for this magnificent 2 day trek where, beyond the very beautiful landscapes and villages of this region, we shared pleasant moments of exchanges and laughter. They invited us to his house and we then spent the evening and the night at his cousin's (who also speaks French) with his black Hmong family around a delicious meal. Warm atmosphere and lots of emotions. Khai is in the process of learning French, which he already masters quite well. He speaks English very well, and the Franco-English exchanges were beneficial to us all... We can only 200% recommend this great human experience. Cam on Khai! Pascale and Stephane PS: Khai, don’t forget to work on your R 😁

Amazing trip with an awesome guide - Have an awesome 2D1N Mt Fansipan hike with Khai. He was amazing and takes care of his hiking people. He prepared amazing meals during the hike as well. He will also control the hiking speed if I’m not able to catch up with him. He is awesome guy to engage him for hiking in Sapa. If had the opportunity to go Sapa for hiking again, I will engage him again. Thank you Khai. Appreciated.

Rugged, Safe, Memorable - Khai was a great guide. Kept me safe, gave me space and time to explore/take pictures/soak in the atmosphere, and cooks well!! Did 2D1N Lao Than and 1D Fansipan with him. Different scenery and terrain, but both were great in their own right. Could not have enjoyed the mountains without Khai's support!

An unforgetable experience - We spend two incredible days with Khai visiting Sapa mountains. We contact him and everything was so easy. On his website he has several routes but while we were organising ours, we talked to him to make our own requests. We wanted a route without many tourists and with spectacular scenery and he made it possible. The accommodation was in a local family home, we shared dinner with them and this made the experience more complete. In addition, Khai speaks very good English, so he was able to explain the customs of the area and the different ethnic groups that we met along the way. If we return to Sapa, we will definitely talk to Khai! A 5 stars experience.

Sa Pa Hmong trek with Khai - Today we finished our 2 day trek with Khai. We toured as a family. Khai looked after us very well. We visited his home and stayed with his cousin. Khai took us off the main tourist trail. We had a wonderful experience walking through rice fields, bamboo forests and cooled off in streams. The food and Hmong family accomodation and friendliness were fantastic. We walked at a pace that suited us and plans were flexible to suit us. I highly recommend a trek with Khai.
