You will then head down to Y Linh Ho village and have lunch at a small, traditional restaurant ran by a local Hmong family.

Lao Chai - From there, you will get the chance to admire some of the biggest and most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam as well as enjoy the majestic mountain view on top of the Hoang Lien mountain.

Ta Van Village - After the break, you will make it to Ta Van, a village of the famous Giay minority, where your local host family will welcome you. You will then have some time to rest, take a hot shower, and get ready for your dinner – if you want, you will also have the chance to take part in an informal cooking class!

Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (12km around 5 hours)

Giang Ta Chai Village - Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea and discover your homestay’s surrounding area and the nearby rice fields. After breakfast, you will be retaken uphill into the mountain till the waterfalls of Giang Ta Chai. You will then enter the Red Dao area where, together with your local guide, you will learn more in detail about their culture and daily life. After a short visit at a Red Dao family, you will then head back to the waterfalls by taking an alternative trail and across a second hanging bridge. Great way to see the rice fields! - Going in Tzu was a great experience she answered all of my questions about the process of planting and growing in the rice fields. And she also taught me a lot about the h’mong culture. The food provided was great! I did the trip solo but was able to meet people on the tour and others at the home stay. Pictures of the accommodations included.

Trekking through the rice fields - My tour guide thong was really nice. She helped me and the other girl in my group a lot when it was slippery. Furthermore, it was a flawless trek through the beautiful rice fields and bamboo forest. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience - We arrived from Hanoi and Me (our tour guide) joined us at 9:00. We had a first day under the rain but thanks to the smile and kindness of Me, it was like if it was sunny. We had one of the best lunch in a restaurant and later joined the homestay ( same village as Me). We slept very nice and we were surrounded by nature, the dream !! Second day was some walking in the baboo forest, very interesting with the explanations of Me. I definitely recommend to book your tour via Trekking tour sapa and ask for Me, she is an amazing tour guide.

Lovely trekking in sapa villages - The trekking tour was beautiful and our guide Mai was very friendly and enthusiastic to show us around and get us accustomed with the local people and traditions. We really enjoyed the excursion! The only thing that was disappointing was the food.

Perfect trek and lovely homestay - Perfect trekking tour through the ricefields with or guide Tseem. She was such a good guide who talked english fluently and were able to answer all our questions. Very kind, and made sure we had a good time. The route was perfect (17km on day 1 and 10 on day 2), and we were able to help deciding how much we would walk. Lovely homestay at our guides sisters house with good rooms, great views and lovely food with the family for dinner and breakfast.

Great trekking experience with Zhu. - We started in Sapa, Zhu was our gide, and she was great both days, picked the right speed depending on the road, we traveled with 2 seniors who preferred to take a cab after lunch on the first day and Zhu arrange that for us flawlessly. She answered all our questions always with a smile and brought us safe and fitter back.

Awesome and professional - When we arrived in Sapa we had in the afternoon a private half day Sapa by sightseeing by car. With Zhu we went to the waterfalls Silver en Love. Zhu was our private guide for 2 days She was very kind, professional, sweet and a helpfull person. She told a lot of Sapa. The next day we had a trekking from Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van. We stayed in a Homestay in Ta Van Villas, with a nice family. The big room with balcony was very clean. Also we had dinner with the Local family, it was delicious. Zhu was always with us, that felt very familiar. The next day we walked from Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai back to Sapa. The paths were sometimes difficult to navigate, but Zhu helped and guided us so well. Thank you for that Zhu. It was a great experience organised by Trekking Tour Sapa en with Zhu our tourguide. Thank you Trekking Tour Sapa!

Rice teracced fields experience - My tourguide Ly was really kind and helpfull. I respect how hard she works. She also learned me alot about Sapa. The homestay and the view were amazing. The familiy of the homestay were also really kind and took good care of me. The part that i didnt enjoyed so much, was that i was not prepared for a long hard walk. My lowerbody hurted for a couple days.. and I also booked a grouptour, but because i was the only person, I had to pay for a private tour.. which i think is not fair, because its not my fault that there was nobody else that booked for that day

A nice hike through the valleys - The weather wasn’t on our side but it was still an enjoyable experience. The rice terraces were beautiful and it was interesting to see the local cultures. The home stay was comfortable and we got to spend time in the kitchen helping the ladies make dinner. Big shout out to our guide Zhu who was incredibly kind and answered all our questions. Thank you!
