(The transportation will be by either motorbike taxi or sheared minivan, depending on the size of your group)

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa, or you come to our office and start your trek from here. You can leave your luggages in our office while trekking, here you can also have a shower before and after your trek.

Depending on your guide the treks will look a bit different. When you meet the guide she will have a map and you can decide the difficulty of your trek and where to go. Below we have a few options but we do other trails as well. You don’t decide where to trek until you meet your guide.

Homestays are run by families who choose to welcome travellers and have prepared their houses to accommodate guests. At the homestay the guests shears one big loft our room, on the second floor in a beautiful traditional house. The host and their family stay in a separate part of the house but you often eat dinner together. There are no private bedroom in the homestays. There are hot showers, western standard toilets, mosquito nets over the beds and tasty traditional food. You don’t need to bring bed sheets, towel or sleeping bags. The homestays are clean and safe.

(Some of our guides welcomes guests to stay the night at their house or a family members house. They all have beds with mosquito nets, electricity and great food but they often don’t have shower or water toilet. If you want this option you can add overnight stay in a local house to your booking)

Difficult but worth it - As someone who typically does not exercise at all, I had a tough time getting used to the terrain and ups and downs of the hike at first. That being said, I made it and the experience was totally worth it! From meeting new friends, spending hours on creating a Batik piece, eating homemade food from our guide Cho, enjoying the peace in the village, seeing different types of animals/insects, and just taking in the view at every corner during the hike, I can't wait to come back and do it again. Thank you Cho and see you next time!

Go go go go! - So amazing and intelligent guide, she shared so much knowledge with us and helped us with all of our wishes and questions. She designed the trekking tour exactly after our needs, asked us along the way how we wanted to continue and took us to the most beautiful places. Also feels amazing to support the local women of Sapa and the neighbor villages.

Quiet trails and interesting stories - Excellent trip led by tour guide Pang. The homestays were beautiful and clean, food was homely and the views, routes and trails were easy walking with stunning views. Pang told us many stories about local life, plants, crops, and culture. She was keen to chat with us and we enjoyed her company very much. Would definitely recommend a trip with Sapa Sisters and the extra 'off the beaten track' options they offer. Our trails were lovely and quiet (except for the occasional water buffalo or duck!) and we had a great time!
