Highlights

Sa Pa – Hang Da – Hau Thao (15km around 5.5 hours)

Hang Da Village - In the morning at 9 am. Trekkingtoursapa’s guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa or in front of Sapa’s main church. After a brief introduction, we will trek 1km uphill on a small trail to the mountain views where you will see Fansipan mountain, standing at 3,143 meters, the highest in Indochina, and get a panoramic view of Sapa town. From this vantage point, you will witness the renowned and expansive rice terrace fields in Vietnam (in Muong Hoa valley) as well as the main river and valley in Sapa. After soaking in the stunning landscape, we will continue our journey along the mountainside down to Hang Da, a village of the Black Hmong minority. The tour offers a chance to see animals such as buffalo, cows, and pigs. We will then have lunch at a small restaurant run by a local family.

Hau Thao - After lunch, we will proceed on a small road down to Hau Thao, a village of the Black Hmong ethnic minority. Here, you will observe the locals’ daily life, and if the timing is right, you will see them working in the fields, either harvesting or planting rice. We will be warmly welcomed by a Black Hmong family at their homestay in Hau Thao village.

Hau Thao – Giang Ta Chai – Ta Van – Lao Chai– Y Linh Ho – Sapa (16km around 6 hours)

Giang Ta Chai Village - After a pleasant breakfast at the homestay, we will begin the trek for the next day. From Hau Thao village, we will walk down to Giang Ta Chai village, where you will see a waterfall and encounter the Red Dao minority. We will then continue trekking uphill to the Hoa Lien Son mountain range, which stands at 1,850 meters above sea level. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Muong Hoa valley.

Sapa trek - The trek was amazing. Pang was our guide and she was excellent. The whole was throughout the trip she was telling us about Vietnamese culture and letting us try local snacks. She gave us options along the route the see different places or to make it more challenging. We had such a great time. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to go trekking in Sapa. The homestay was in a great location along the river. It was very comfortable and the host was very nice, sharing the local rice wine with us. 10/10 from us.

Excellent - Chu, my guide was great! During the 2 day hike she told me lots about the plants and fruits we encountered. But also about here culture and living there. The views were also incredible and the trek was very well organized. The homestay was clean and beautiful. Food was also provided and tasted great. The office people are also really nice. I could shower when I arrived from the night train before the trek and also after de trek again at their office in Sapa. (The photo’s I added might look from the internet but I took them myself and are without editing it just that beautiful) Overall, I would totally recommend it!

Do not hesitate, it is a great experience!! - Fantastic experience. We went through rice fields, our guide Su explains your culture and answers all the questions, we slept in a homestay with spectacular views and very good food and breakfast pancakes. I told them about a skin problem I have and they helped me with medicinal herbs. In short, very friendly, rich food and obviously amazing views.

Best experience so far! - We had the best experience with Trekking Tour Sapa! Our tour guide Sang was amazing. She told us all about the local cultures, histories and practices. She adjusted the route to suit our interests and she showed us some breathtaking views 😍 The homestay was also lovely. The people were so friendly and the dinner was delicious! The room we were given had great views and was very clean and comfortable. The 2 day 1 night tour was the best thing we have done so far in Vietnam! We would %100 book with Trekking Tour Sapa again the future!

Unforgettable experience - Mê' was our guide. It has been a wonderful experience doing the tour with her, she has taught us a lot about her culture, rice fields, nature in Sapa, the villages, different tribes. It has been a success to do the tour with her because otherwise I would not have seen so many places for myself or known so many details. On the other hand, his attitude is very nice and kind with a very good level of English. Thank you for such a nice experience.

Beautiful local hiking tour - 2D1N tour is an incredible experience Our local guide Mê' explained to us many things about their culture during the trekking: how they cultivate and do their clothes, differences between tribes, plants and fruits with the uses they have... We slept in a homestay of local tribe people, the food and room were incredible and we got to have dinner together and talk more about their culture. We were able to do a mixed trekking where we walked through the mountains, visiting different villages, and rice terraces (amazing) I highly recommend the experience of being able to enjoy the nature of Sapa, learn about the local culture of the tribes and spend time with local people

She customised the route to suit us, taking us up mountains and through rice fields, bamboo forests and local villages. She gave us great insights into Sa Pa and the surrounding villages and made it an unforgettable experience. We also stayed in a lovely homestay with delicious dinner and breakfast.
