• Cat Cat village - Description/Itinerary:

Cat Cat, Sin Chai village – Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Ta Van villages

Day 1 - Cat Cat, Sin Chai village (L,D)

Get picked up from the bus office in Sapa at 1:00 PM and taken to our office (Golden Villa Hotel).

Have lunch and check into your room. We will then depart from the hotel at 2:30 PM and walk 3 km to explore Cat Cat – Sin Chai village of the H’mong people – an area discovered by the French during the colonial period and a well-known resort for officials in the early twentieth century.

Upon arriving at Cat Cat village, visitors will see the Hydropower station, the Cat Cat village waterfall, and learn about the culture, customs, and unique people here, including traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, and hand-forged agricultural tools. After that, you will walk back to Sapa (4 km).

Relax and have dinner at 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM.

• Ta Van Village - Day 2 - Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Ta Van village (B,L)

Breakfast and check out of your room before 8:30 AM. Then we will start our trek down to Y Linh Ho, a village inhabited by the Hmong minority. This is a great opportunity to take photographs of terraces that are estimated to be around 100 years old. From Y Linh Ho, we will make our way to Lao Chai village where you will visit the Hmong hometown. Stop in Lao Chai for a lunch break of around 1 hour.

You will then continue walking to Ta Van, an established Hmong and Giay village. In Ta Van village, we will arrange a minivan to pick you up and take you to Sapa.

Return to Sapa at around 2:00 PM. Take a shower at our hotel. At 3:00 PM, we will have a shuttle drive you to the bus office, check you in for your bus back to Hanoi. Before you leave, we will prepare some sandwiches for you to take away.
