Highlights

Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Homestay (15 km or 6.5 hours)

Y Linh Ho - The tour begins at 9 am. Our local guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa Town or in front of the main local church. After a brief introduction, you will be taken 2km down to Cat Cat’s road, a well-known village of the Hmong minority. From there, you will reach the hanging bridge of the Muong Hoa river and then continue uphill into the mountains and through a bamboo forest.

You will then head down to Y Linh Ho village and have lunch at a small, traditional restaurant run by a local Hmong family.

Ta Van Village - After the break, you will make your way to Ta Van, a village of the famous Giay minority, where your local host family will welcome you. You will then have some time to rest, take a hot shower, and get ready for your dinner – if you want, you will also have the chance to take part in an informal cooking class!

Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan -Ban Ho – Homestay (18 km or 6.30 hours)

Giang Ta Chai Village - Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea and explore your homestay’s surrounding area and the nearby rice fields. After breakfast, you will be taken uphill into the mountain until you reach the waterfalls of Giang Ta Chai. You will then enter the Red Dao area where, together with your local guide, you will learn more about their culture and daily life. After a short visit with a Red Dao family, you will head back to the waterfalls by taking an alternative trail and crossing a second hanging bridge. You will then have lunch in Giang Ta Chai village at a small, local restaurant run by a Hmong family. After the break, our bus will be waiting for you, and you will head back to Sapa Town.

Ban Ho Village - After the break, we will make our way to Su Pan, a community of the Black Hmong minority. Then we will continue walking to Ban Ho village, where you will meet three ethnic minorities: Red Dao, Tay, and Black Hmong. A Tay family will welcome us to their home. You will then have time to rest, take a hot shower, and wait for your dinner.

Ban Ho – Nam Tong – Sapa (3km around 3 hours)

Ban Ho Village - After breakfast on the third day, we will visit the traditional houses and learn about Tay culture, then go to Nam Tong village.

Amazing Trek through Sapa with Homestay - The tour was amazing! We would not have been able to navigate our own way without the local guides. They took us off the road and through the rice fields and mountains. Ly and Pang were absolutely the best!! They were our guides and they have very big hearts and were so helpful the entire time. We felt safe and very grateful for there help in exploring this beautiful region of Vietnam.

Amazing tour and guide ‘So’ - Amazing trekking tour! The landscape and views are amazing. You get to see local villages and get a taste of it at the Homestay. We had So as our guide and she was so good! She knew so much about the farming, villages and tradition. Furthermore her English was so good even though she didn’t learned it at school - impressive!!! Tour 5⭐️🤘

Phenomenal experience - book with this company, you won’t regret it - My tour guide, Me, was phenomenal! Couldn’t have asked for more. I booked a group tour but ended up being the only booking so did it solo and Me was great company. Really informative, kept a good speed. She is truly an amazing guide, she is an asset to the company.

Incredible trek with an angel of a guide named So So! - Really amazing experience. The views are gorgeous, the homestays are very comfortable, and my guide So So really made the trip incredible. I think this trip was the most at peace I’ve felt during my time in Vietnam. So So is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable guides in Sa Pa. She has been doing this for over 25 years and her English is very very good. She answered so many questions for me about the Hmong culture, her life growing up, and the customs and traditions from her village. The views are incredible of course, but I think the rich cultural insight you get from this trip is what really makes it special.

Unforgettable adventure - Incredible experience! Very authentic adventure, our super friendly guide Li explained everything to us about the different traditions, Vietnamese culture and nature. We were able to ask lots of questions and experience the life of the villagers up close. We can only recommend this trip to anyone who wants to get a realistic picture of the culture here! Booking, payment, etc. was all very easy and could be done spontaneously. We thank Li for the three wonderful, eventful days!

Amazing - We had a great time on our 3 day 2 night trek. We were with a group of 5-6 and our tour guide Xu who was very friendly and informative. We originally booked for 2 days and decided to extended our stay. The home stays were very nice and family dinner was always a joy. Some days were misty but we still had a great time. 100% recommend.

Sapa 3 Days 2 Nights Trek with Homestays - We had a fantastic trip. The tour company booked our travel from Hanoi to Sapa. We arranged our own hostel night before. Our guide Domg picked us up from the hostel in the morning. We dropped our luggage at the tours office for the 3 days and set off. Through the trip our guide was extremely attentive. She spoke great English sharing with us all the facts of the local area including the people and the history of Sapa and the surrounding villages we went through. The first nights home stay the beds were comfortable, the food was very good. The second night the beds weren’t as comfortable but the food was again very good. We walked around 35km over the 3 days. Due to the time of year we went it was foggy and the views weren’t as good as if we had gone another time of year but we still got to see the scenery. Overall it was an unforgettable experience make extremely special by the our very special guide Domg
