From here, you will follow the directions of the cave, there are places just for one person to go. You will admire the sharp stalactites with lots of extremely unique shapes.

  • Ta Phin Monastery - The ancient Ta Phin Monastery, located at the foot of the mountain, was built in 1942. It used to be a place of practice for 12 ascetic nuns of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Catholic Church of Christian Conversion. In 1945, the delegation left Hanoi and the monastery was abandoned to the present day.

In general, the monastery consists of a five-room house with the main direction facing west, three stories high, which is the accommodation and activities of the nuns.

Rich learning - Very rich tour to get to know the local villages, it's really worth it. We learned a lot and the guide who accompanied us was great. In addition to being local and knowing everything about Sapa, he has excellent English.

Real trekking through the mountains - Trekking through the mountains was an amazing experience. Seeing rice fields, bamboo Forrest’s and cornfields close up was wonderful and the views all day were spectacular. May, our guide was very knowledgeable about local traditions and was very knowledgeable about local plants and their uses in cooking, medicine and clothing. The trek was challenging as we went on a very hot day but May provided easier options and rests along the way. The bath at the end was very appreciative. A great way to see and understand the area.

Check out this tour! - We were met by Chacha at our hotel lobby. From there we headed north, through villages, rice paddies, corn and bamboo fields. Had a substantial and very yum lunch then trekked a small distance further to the Red Dao herbal baths. Chacha was an amazing guide, telling us about her family, the local villages and farming life in the region. All up, we trekked about 12km. Chacha was very accommodating, asking if we preferred the easy or harder paths. We had a great day and we definitely recommend this trek. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and hats!!!
