Beautiful river Cruise - The transfer is a little bit long but totally worth it. Our guide was amazing for the first time in Kota Kinabalu. Well organized and communicated trip to the Klias river. We have seen a raptile lots of monkeys and the fire flies. Thanks.

Nice Program - Our tour guide Jason is a nice guy and he took us around the city and saw the highlights as offered by the program. Nice tour and we enjoy it and also enjoy our stay there n Brunei.

Wonderful experience - A wonderful experience. We sighted several groups of proboscis monkeys and some hornbills. The firefly tour was also very impressive. Friendly guides fluent in different languages.

Promise kept - The site is located about 2 hours drive from KK, towards the south, by minibus (around ten people max). The road is not of much interest, portions were under construction during our visit. Tea or coffee accompanied by very good cakes on arrival were welcome. First boat trip on the river, very beautiful landscape and as promised, you can observe many monkeys in their environment at your leisure. Return to the site for a simple and good buffet dinner, and, at nightfall, return to the river for the impressive firefly show. The staff is friendly, good explanations (in English), this tour is well put together. Be careful, bring mosquito repellent and/or cover your arms and legs.

River cruise with Proboscis monkey and fireflies sighting. - Well organized and pretty much everything as per the itinerary that was given. The local Malay food (snacks and dinner) was good. We had a good guide both in the van and on the cruise too. Sighting so many Proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat was the key highlight..And later in the night the fireflies viewing.

Best experience - It was the best firefries experience for me. I could enjoy the river view and observing some animals. Staff explained about animals, and they sent me to hotel after that. Thank you!

Guide was very know;edgable, and lots of great wildlife. - We saw three different species of monkeys very quickly, and many groups of them through the cruise. Beautiful mangroves, and great evening light. Food also very good.

Wildlife galore - We saw probiscus monkeys, small monkeys, fireflies, a crocodile and a hornbill! Our guide Sulani was very informative, roadworks on the 2 hour drive make it a bit of a journey, but overall it was a worthwhile experience.

Well worth the 2 hour journey - Long journey but well worth it, saw lots of Monkeys and the Fireflies and the dinner was enjoyable. Only negative was the bus seats were a little uncomfortable for the length of the journey.

A lovely afternoon in the lap of nature - The experience of going on a river nestled between pristine mangrove forests was truly unforgettable for a nature lover like me. It was also wonderful to see the probocis monkeys that are endemic to Borneo. Although we had a full moon that didn’t make things great for viewing fireflies we did get a chance to see them and this is another wonderful sight. Recommend you go when there isn’t a full moon. Overall a great and memorable visit
