Eco limon tour with Vladimir review, from a french couple - A day perfectly well spent, not a single dull moment, lots of activities like discovery of a cacao farm with many tropical plants, relaxing lagoon trip, very enjoyable horse trip alongside the beach, delicious authentic food, and cherry on top, a ride on a quad bike alongside rice fields and coconut trees until we reached the beach where we took a well needed bath, In general, we enjoyed this trip very much, and we felt like we were in a latino television series.

AMAZING LIMON ECO TOUR - My sister and I were advised to take an excursion called Eco Tour Limon. Honestly, there are no words to express how happy we were that day! It was incredible. A big thank you to our guides Johnny and Vladimir. They are the best! They are the nicest people with a great sense of humor 😉! Unforgettable ! Unmissable! - So how do we find the words to write this “experience”?…. An unforgettable day ! Warm guides with enormous humor. Incredible activities: crossing Lake Lìmon by boat with arrival on the beach; quad including part on the deserted and magical beach of the Dominican Republic and horseback ride always on this same magical beach. A succession of simply unforgettable moments. Without forgetting the homemade food and the coconut juice at the end of the day, including a visit to a typical house of the place which in passing introduces you to the making of organic chocolate! A must do if you have the chance to pass through this magnificent country. Don’t forget sunscreen and mosquito repellent though. Thanks to the whole team.

good without more.. - Looking at the description of the excursion and seeing all these very positive reviews, we left very enthusiastic for this day but we were disappointed. First of all we were leaving Bayahibe, we were told 2 hours of driving, we were closer to 3 hours which is not far from 6 hours of bus travel during the day, it's way too much. The excursion was supposed to be 100% French, we ended up with a Franco-German group and therefore a guide who explained in German then in French, I have nothing against it but we must not sell the excursion by specifying that she is 100% French. we don't start the quad, it's nice, pretty, but we are in single file at a very leisurely pace, too leisurely. the meal afterwards is good, then we leave for the so-called "authentic" visit, we find ourselves in a village where we have recreated a typical house, a coffee and chocolate workshop, of course it is interesting but where is the authenticity ? and we of course end up with products for sale at a very high price. We end with the boat which takes us to a beach full of plastics and it is not the tide which brings them back, then the return to the ranch on horseback, so I understood that in the Dominican Republic horses are thinner (or even very thin), that they are collected from places where they have been mistreated but still they do not seem to be treated very well, I saw one bleeding on the attachment from his saddle. I doubt the optimization of the well-being of these horses and I was frankly not at ease on this last part of the excursion. brief excursion far from the dream that we are sold
