Your journey begins right from your accommodation, with our tour guide picking you up for a brief 30-minute drive to a traditional coffee farm. Here, you will learn the fascinating journey of coffee, right from the planting of the seed to the brewing of an aromatic cup of organic coffee, under the expert guidance of a local farmer.
As part of the experience, you’ll get a chance to participate in coffee harvesting alongside the farmer, effectively becoming a farmer for a day.
The tour also boasts of enchanting views of the Colombian countryside and a variety of native fruit trees to marvel at.
Lastly, post immersing yourself in the sensory delight of coffee’s fragrance and taste, our guide will ensure your safe return to the hotel.

Fantastic Coffee Tour and coffee at a bargain price - Our tour was fantastic! Our tour guide Yuly was on time, excellent driver, very, very informative and spoke perfect English which helped put us at ease to enjoy our tour. The farm was beautiful, picturesque and the owner was very welcoming. We sampled coffee made with4 different machines; all excellent!
Spent dinner last night telling our gathering of 18 people how wonderful the whole experience was.

Incredible Tour!! - This was an absolutely amazing tour! We tasted fresh coffee made through multiple different methods and learned so much during the tasting. We got to walk all around the farm, which had incredible views, and pick the coffee beans ourselves! We were able to see the entire process of their coffee growing and production. The tour was beautiful, fun, and interesting. Antonio the owner and our tour guide Henry were both so kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful people! I couldn’t recommend them enough. This is a must do if you are visiting Medellín!

Excellent Experience! - First time coffee farm experience. Everything was exceptional, easy drive from the city, Julio’s knowledge about coffee growing, visiting the local farm, meeting the lovely owners, hands-on picking the coffee and the coffee tastings. Also, appreciated Julio’s historical insights about Medellin and Colunbia.

The Highlight of our Vacation - This private tour of a local coffee farm was a highlight of our trip to Medellin, Colombia! The farm is only ~ 30 minutes south of the city (Saboneta) and easy to access. You learn about the entire process of coffee bean cultivation - from seed to sprout - and get to enjoy their freshly roasted coffee through a variety of preparations that show you how the product changes depending on its preparation (drip vs. french press, etc.) Our guide Yuly was amazing. She is extremely personable and has great enthusiasm for what she does. Her English speaking ability is nearly perfect as she has has lived in the USA, and has a background in international business.

Highlight of our trip to Medellín! - My fiancé and I last minute changed our plans for the day in Medellín and booked a trip to sabaneta and we lucked out! Oscar was a fantastic guide who picked us up at our hotel and shared a ton of knowledge with us about Medellin on the way to mountain. We had delicious coffee prepared several different ways, then explored the mountain, enjoyed the views and picked some of the beans ourselves. I learned so much about coffee and enjoyed some of the coffee berry tea as well. The farm is in a beautiful location and is incredibly welcoming- we felt folded in immediately! Oscar spoke excellent English and translated for me and Antonio, the farm owner when my Spanish was not strong enough (still rusty). This was a magical experience that my fiance and I will cherish! Thank you! Cannot recommend this tour and Oscar enough!

Fantastic half day tour with wonderful guide - We had a wonderful time on the tour with Julio. He was great - friendly, open, informative - as was Laura at the coffee farm. We learned a lot about the process of coffee making and now have a greater appreciation for the work that goes into picking and processing the beans. We were the only ones at the farm and Julio and Laura took the time to answer our questions and really explain the process. We really enjoyed it and appreciated Julio dropping us off close to our destination as well. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Medellin.

Makes you really appreciate everything behind the scenes to make a cup of coffee! - The tour was very informative, and engaging. We learned the process from planting, harvesting, and preparing the beans to export. Along with various methods of brewing Our 4 year old enjoyed it and participated in each step. Thanks to Oscar who made him feel involved and indulged him when he asked questions. Would definitely recommend going!

If you are thinking about going on a coffee tour consider this one and request Oscar. - We highly recommend this tour. Oscar was a fabulous guide. He gave us an excellent tour on the way to the coffee plantation. Our time at the plantation was fun and super informative. We picked coffee beans and learned all about the process. Oscar was pleasant and made the tour better than we expected.

Interesting, interactive and fun - My guide for the day was Mario, scheduled with a 1:30pm pickup.
Mario was on time to pick me up and arrived at 1:30pm. Throughout the day, Mario was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He not only has a deep knowledge of Medellin and coffee, but having spend considerable time overseas, his English is excellent.
The tour of the farm itself was superb. An interactive experience in a family operated environment.
I would highly recommend this tour and Mario to others.
