Great trip! - Me and my husband did this excursion during the Luxor part of our honeymoon in Egypt and it was worth every moment.
Note! The trip is long (about 3hrs each way) but it was an easy ride that allowed us an experience we wouldn't have otherwise had. While long it is a relatively easy ride with good and diverse views/scenery of Egypt along the way.
Prior to our arrival, we were asked to provide documentation for the tourism notifications needed, we were informed of how to prepare day of, all of our questions were answered. Our guide/driver was very polite, helpful and thoughtful. He even made sure we were settled on the yacht before leaving us and was waiting for us when we docked to carry us safely back to our hotel.
The snorkeling portion was a great experience as well.
While many will recommend you stay by the Red Sea longer, if you are not able and don't want to miss out, this is the way to go! Definitely a trip we will remember for all the good.
