Great! - Very great trip! Unfortunately the waterfall was relatively frozen over but the climb up was worth it. Very nice German tour guide, highly recommended.

Most beautiful waterfall we visited, - The tour guide was great, knowledgeable and pleasant. The waterfall and surrounding scenery were beautiful. We had enough time to walk up to the waterfall and walk around the area.

Perfect diversion from cruise. - The bus tour was restful and pleasant. We were given the perfect amount of time to climb, relax, view and enjoy the falls.

Highly recommended, great customer service - I would highly recommend booking tours with West Travel if you are visiting Iceland. We were visiting on a cruise ship and as a result timings are key. West Travel answered all my pre-departure queries promptly so I had no concerns about booking with them instead of through the ship. However, the evening before our tour the captain announced that we would not be in port for as long due to weather conditions. We realised we would not have time to do the trip to the falls anymore and would have to cancel and lose our money. We were very surprised and relieved the next morning to find West Travel had responded to my message the same night and offered to bring the time of the tour forward for the people on our ship so we could still go to the falls and be back in time. There were only 6 passengers on our tour so we were on a comfortable mini bus. The bus was parked only a few metres away from the cruise ship ones so was easy to find. Our driver was very informative and it was interesting to hear about his life. He was also happy to stop for photographs anywhere we wanted and did this a few times at scenic locations. The drive was very interesting through the surrounding countryside and through the tunnels. We had 1.5 hours at the falls which proved to be enough time for us to reach the very top of the path up to the falls and back. Most of the path is extremely rough with large steps or stones and no handrails. It is also wet and muddy so wear hiking boots. The lower part of the path is accessible and goes to a nice viewing area. If you are unsure of your ability to get to the top I would strongly advise against it. Our driver told us that people fall / trip on the path fairly often and that a man had broken his leg; I can easily see how that could happen. There are free accessible toilets next to the car park if needed. Many thanks to West Travel for their excellent customer service and a great tour. We hope to return to Iceland soon and will certainly be using them again when we do.

Well organised - Excellent value tour to picturesque falls. We travelled in a comfortable minibus, with good driver. There was a last minute change in cruise ship arrival and departure times, but tour company rescheduled to accommodate us.

Nice time, kind and knowledgeable staff - We took the tour instead of our cruise offerings and it was a great choice. Our tender was slow because of bad weather and they waited for us w a smile and mo attitude. Too bad some others looked at us with an attitude . We greatly appreciate iOnly 9 mis late. Wonderful explanations by guide, nice waterfalls and not too llong or short. Just perfect. Very kind staff

The Falls - Very scenic trip. Lots of time to explore the falls. The trip to the falls takes you through two long tunnels. The bus had to pull into turn outs to allow oncoming traffic to pass on the way to the falls. Then we had the right of way going back to the ship. Enjoyable and interesting.
