Belmont and Tony with Vision Tours Grenada Are a MUST DO! - This tour was amazing - Tony is a gem. You're not just getting a ride to Belmont, you're getting glorious, in-depth insights to the people and places you pass along the way. Tony knows his stuff and is eager to share. The Belmont tour itself was amazing - from the wonderful guides to the detailed explainations of how this world-class chocolate is made. From seed to finished bar. It makes you appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into each bar and you understand why they taste so wonderful. Drive around the corner to the River Antoine Estate Rum Distillery and expericen another old world facility that is also something you don't want to miss (and Tony will make it happen). Watching the giant water wheel turn gears to crush sugar cane was a sight to behold! Even if you don't like rum, how these folks do it is something you should not miss. If you are in Grenada, you need to lock Tony down for a time and get him to take you to Belmont. You will not be disappointed and trust me, by the time you leave, you'll have a new friend in Grenada!

The wonderful Al will make you feel... -
The wonderful Al will make you feel very welcome and at home the moment you meet him. Thankfully, we booked our tour for a Sunday when the island of Grenada is mostly quiet. We visited beautiful waterfalls, the Belmont Estate, the disused airport and also travelled up to the coast. Al's expert knowledge kept us informed every step of the way and his expert driving made us feel we were in safe hands. Al's knowledge of the island is insurmountable and he will give you interesting facts along the journey. He was more than happy to accustom our trip to our specific requirements. Al showed us local beaches and eateries within walking distance of our hotel and even arranged for my poorly friend to see an ex pat nurse en route. Having toured most of the island, it was no trouble for Al to drive us back, at our request, to the Belmont Estate for a late lunch. One thing is for sure, Al will make you fall very much in love with the island of Spice.

Stay away from Tony - Very disappointing experience with Tony who was more interested in sharing his private life than knowledge about the island and the locals daily life, tradition etc. I booked and pre-paid this trip in advance thought VIATOR and I was excited to explore the island! The tour was pricey 130USD however I thought it was worth for a full day (7 hours trip) with all below: ‘After hotel or port pickup by private air-condition vehicle, you head to the first stop on your day tour of Grenada, the Grand E'tang nature reserve. When I went back to the car Tony made a comment about how long this experience took (he expected me to be back in 20 minutes) and so because I overtaken the time on this tour now he has to reschedule the rest of the tour with me for an other day and he has to take me back to my hotel. 😳. 1st; Belmont Estate experience was adverse as 40+45 minutes so I as a paying customer shop not be questioned why I did not finish the tour in 20 minutes… the length of the tour was not up to me I was guided only. Therefore I should not be told that we have no time left and we have to reschedule… Tony claimed he planned the tour for 4 hours… why VIAYOR by Vision advertise the tour for 7 hours ?! -no clue! Turns out that Tony had an airport pick up scheduled for 2.15 so my tour was overlapping with his other agreements. This was not the experience I wanted! I would not recommend him and his service. If anything, book with Henry Safari Tour if you want knowledgable, professional, reliable service and a guide who is truly prioritise clients and go above and beyond to make sure you have an unforgettable experience on the island! Rawle would provide that with excellence!
