Saint George's

This is one of the most beautiful, quiet and secluded waterfalls on Grenada. It is truly off the beaten path and is never crowded or over-run by tourists. The waterfall and pool are both quite refreshing, and are completely surrounded by natural rain forest.

Another lovely day - We returned to Grenada after 5 years because it’s such a beautiful island and we enjoyed our hike so much last trip. We had another wonderful day hiking and sightseeing with Vaughan. This time we hiked to Upper Concord falls and swam in the waterfall. Amazing. Then we toured a nutmeg factory and finished with rum sampling. Loved it.

Tropical Adventures with Vaughn - We contacted Vaughn and asked him to send us an itinerary of waterfall hikes and he responded promptly. The itinerary was thorough with times distances and costs so we were able to understand which hikes to choose easily. We booked the Upper Concord which was amazing, Seven Sisters which was nice, We hiked Mt. Qua Qua and the views are amazing...the hike a bit easier than we expected, and we also booked Black Rock. All were very nice and quickly done. None were too challenging if you wear the right shoes. The trails are muddy and slippery. Being healthy and fit helps tremendously. I loved that Vaughn was able to find us a local to cook us an authentic meal by the lower Concord waterfalls. A great view with a fantastic meal! Thank you Vaughn for an amazing week! Highly recommended!

Upper Concord Falls - worth the climb! - Absolutely stunning tour with an absolutely awesome guide! As I found myself in Grenada on my own for a weekend during a work trip, I booked a last minute hike to Black Rock Falls through trip advisor, and won the lottery by getting Vaughn and his Tropical Adventures as my guide. Vaughn picked me up at my hotel, and true to the previous reviews, adapted the planned tour to my preferences. Rather than going to black rock falls, he suggested another destination that involved a slightly longer hike, but which is what I had been hoping for anyway. It worked out that the upper Concord Falls excursion was the same price so we headed there instead, and it was amazing. It should be said that the main falls at the parking lot are nice enough and reasonably accessible, complete with gift shops and caged monkeys :( , but if you continue up a not-so-beaten path 45 minutes or so you will not be disappointed. At the end of a very leafy, muddy, scramble-y hike which involves several river crossings (your shoes will get both filthy and soaked so be prepared) you are rewarded by a stunning, wild waterfall in a cascade cathedral-like enclave with vegetation-covered cliff walls and trees reaching to the sky, with a deep pool perfect for a relaxing swim in what feels like an ancient spiritual place. Along the way, and if you’re interested, Vaughn will share his knowledge of the history and the now of Grenada, and of the flora and fauna, including birds. I don’t know about birds, but if you’re into birding, I think Vaughn is your guy. With zero hesitation: would highly recommend!

Fun hike and GORGEOUS waterfalls!!! - Great tour!!! Truly secluded waterfall and we were glad we had Vaughn as our guide. If you’re looking for something that is off the beaten path, somewhat of a challenge and a lot of fun then this is for you! The hike was thrilling and the waterfall beautiful! I would recommend this to anyone who likes the outdoors and hiking. P.S. Of note there is mud on the trails and they can be steep at times, moreover there a few fast moving streams that need to be crossed (your shoes will be completely submerged). If that is not the experience you are looking for then this might not be for you.

Excellent Hiking Adventure - Vaughn was an excellent guide! He was kind and so informative about Grenada. We had a great day with him as he hiked us around Grand Etang. The highlight was Black Rock Falls. We loved learning more about the island from him, including the wildlife, vegetation, and history. It was a relaxed tour and he was willing to change the itinerary when we saw something that interested us. We had a few tour guides over our entire trip in Grenada. He was the best out of all of them. We appreciated his down to earth style and relaxed tour.
