Well worth it - It was a fantastic day! We got to see everything we wanted without being rushed like we would in a big tour group.

Magical - This was the most memorable day of our trip to Austria 🇦🇹 Our driver was knowledgeable and courteous and an extremely safe driver. I would highly recommend this tour.

Doesn't get any better - Our driver was an outstanding and informative individual, who told us about the history of the sites we stopped at and was most accommodating to our needs and desires.

A drive more than a tour but perfect! - Thomas was our host for the drive and was excellent. Always kind, and flexible it was an absolute delight to have him with us for the drive. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful trip to Hallstatt - I travelled with my Korean friends form Salzburg to Hallstatt. We were 6 persons and we had a lot of luggage. The was driver was very helpfull and friendly and he spoke English very well!

It was an amazing trip - It was an extraordinary trip and we enjoyed a lot. We were 7 people and vehicle was Benz V class 8 seater and the driver was so polite and he knows everything related to the place and he had given us an amazing service too. And we are again planning for this trip after corona issue.

A driver only, not a tour - Our driver was on time to pick us up / the car was very nice and appropriate child car seats were provided. Unfortunately we didn’t feel like we had much time at the stops on the way to Hallstatt - certainly not the length of times noted on the itinerary on the website. We also weren’t given information about where we had actually stopped - we were only given this information when we asked. When in Hallstatt, at 3.45 I received a text message from the driver with just “?” - when I responded and asked what time we needed to leave by, I was told 4pm at the latest. This meant we were dropped back to our accommodation at 5.30 - half an hour earlier than the 6pm drop off time. The driver also started driving off while I was still stood up in the back getting the Childrens seatbelts on - everything felt very rushed.

Private transfer to hallstat - Full disclosure. I should have read the exact details of the trip. Bottom line it was a great transfer Pros: 1. The driver, I forgot his name, was great. Prompt, safe driver, and very courteous. 2. Very flexible timeline. You can modify your stay as much as you want. Our driver was very accommodating. 3. The car is very clearn. Cons: 1.this is not a driver tour situation. This is more of a shuttle to halstat. I was expecting somebody to provide details to the landmarks, but it felt like I was extracting information from him. I love learning about the history of the landmarks, thank Budha for quick google search. If you are the mindset that this service is a private shuttle to the place, then feel free to book it. 2. Recommend that Viator changes the title of the tour. Majority of the title will say if it is a private tour, this one did not. It did say it in the fine print. I should have paid close attention to it. Funny thing is I should have just driven myself up there. I brought my car from Germany, but was to lazy to drive.

Wasted day and once in a lifetime experience - We were told with the on line booking that we would have a driver-guide. Our driver barely spoke English and said he was only a driver. He never said a word about any place he drove us to. We were expecting someone who would give us a little history of the various places we were driven to but not a word was ever spoken. Many times he would drop us off and when we asked what was to be seen he said he was only a driver. Our family had rented a van for our trip and could have driven our van and googled directions. We felt like we wasted a once in a life time experience by having someone who refused to explain anything. We would like a refund from our trip! What a waste of our one day in Salzburg.
