Good experience and good tour agency - Very well organized experience (Tiamar Tour Agency), the minivan is comfortable and the guide (Fernando) seems to be very well prepared. He provided us very detailed information connected with a good storytelling, good humor and politeness. He tried to organized the tour avoiding the others big tour groups where in many stops we could visit less crowded places. It’s a very long trip but with many stops where we could see how beautiful and amazing are the “Quebrada de las conchas” route. The wine experience in Cafayate city it’s a skip in our opinion. The city is cute but don’t offer many things to see and do. And the visit at the Bodega isn’t that interesting. Maybe the time there can be reduced and visit other natural attractions in the zone instead.

More than a tour, a class! - We took the tour with the guide Fernando. He is very intelligent, he gave a detailed explanation about the formation of the ravine. He understands a lot about paleontology and geology. I was impressed. I had never been on a tour before. I highly recommend it. About the place, everything is very beautiful! My favorite part was arriving at Cafayate, as the view is incredible! Cafayate is pretty too, but I believe I would go back to spend a night there and have time to see more. Anyway, I highly recommend the tour with this agency!

Gorgeous scenery, great wines, and EXTRAORDINARY guide - FANTASTIC trip!! Our guide, Monica, was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and had fantastic information about the region. Sergio, our driver, had a whole playlist to accompany the monuments we visited! Gorgeous scenery, and great winery. Highly recommended.

Great landscapes. Very informative tours. Very friendly and knowledgeable bus driver/guide. - Great landscapes. Very informative tours. On this Tour to "Cafayate" we had a very friendly bus driver-tour guide (even spoke five languages) and had a great knowledge of geology (presumably studied). This tour was a great experience.

Great, fun tour - Our tour guide Maru(hope I write it right) was excellent. She spoke Spanish and English very well. She clearly enjoys her job and she explained things very well. The only thing that was not that great was the wine tour. They were cleaning stuff so certain parts of the winery were not open. Also, when we asked to try a different wine and we would pay extra, they declined. (It was not a top notch wine, just their Rose, which can be skipped)! All in all the tour was great! Highly recommended it.

We simply liked EVERYTHING, our country is beautiful! - The entire day was spectacular, the group that we were in was very cool and not all of us spoke Spanish, the guide Maru was a genius, very cool. We took many photos and made all the stops on the itinerary.

Good value for money, lots of time on the bus - A good way to see a lot of scenery without having to do all the driving. Be warned, it’s ALOT of time in the road, but the views are amazing. We made lots of stops along the way to take pictures. The bus itself was very cramped. Very good value for money.

Disorganized - They asked me to approach the headquarters and finally they picked me up at the hotel, bad communication. The driver was driving fast. The beautiful landscapes

wineries in Cafayate - We took the excursion with Parada Norte, the circuit promoters were very friendly and explained the departure in great detail. Although it was an interesting proposal, it takes all day, it is a 10/12 hour excursion of which 7 hours you spend on the transport. They picked us up at the hotel, punctually. From there we began the journey towards Cafayate, making stops at various viewpoints, Devil's Throat, and amphitheater, with truly spectacular places. Arriving at the destination, we made a stop at the Tierra colorada winery where we spent approximately 25 minutes, a brief tour of the infrastructure of the small winery, a tasting of three, four wines in 5 minutes and then a moment to buy wines. freshly tasted An interesting option except that they only offer tastings of economically marketed wines and the high-end ones only display and offer them for sale. Still being a pleasant moment due to the attention of the people in charge of the proposal at the winery. From there we headed to the City of Calafate where the coordinator suggested we have lunch at an El Criollo restaurant. Three blocks from the main square. A shame, around said square are the rest and bars that beautify the place. On the other hand, where we had lunch was still a diner-type restaurant with a fixed menu, without air conditioning and with inauspicious facilities. I do not recommend doing this excursion in summer or with children since we had an average temperature of 39 degrees and during the desert route I estimate that it was around 45 degrees. The wonderful landscapes. There are countless wineries, it is a shame that they only repair or offer in the proposal a family winery type of commercial premises and without vineyards (plantations) in sight, which is what tourists expect to see, given that wine in bottles can be bought in the supermarket.
