"Travel is the cure for everything. - What a fascinating place, I recommend this land called Salvador, so that everyone can know, good, and sacred land, I intend to do again, here in Rio de Janeiro, it is very boring, violet, and graceless.

Bahia’s History Brought to Life By Wilson - Wilson Badaro was the consummate guide and historian for our tour, balancing the needs of an anthropologist and two teenage boys. We enjoyed seeing and learning of the history of Bahia from the lighthouse at the Bay of Saints to the sounds of Olodum to the square of Jorge Amado where Michael Jaxson performed to showcase the inequities in human rights. We learned of the churches that encircle the city and tell of its history from the Portuguese to the Dutch to the Chinese. We enjoyed an in-depth look at the Church of St Francis. From the Portuguese titles and their meditative lessons to the golden carvings to the black saints, Wilson weaves history into the details and helped create new perspectives and understanding. We have traveled the world and participated in many guided tours from Ecuador to Turkey to South Africa. Wilson and Your Tour is simply the best. He is a skilled historian, professor, host and student. While we were walking the streets folks came up to him asking for his number. He is a national treasure. We hope to meet him again someday! But perhaps today is your lucky day.

City Tour Salvador - Guided Itinerary - We did the Salvador City tour with the best guide in the city: Edvaldo Gomeia (71)98866-2325. For everyone, this City Tour alone was worth the entire trip. We went through all the points and always had a lesson on the city's culture. Always very cheerful, attentive and patient. Even in the rain, he completed the entire itinerary. We left the guesthouse at 9:30 am and arrived home at 7:00 pm. What a sensational day. It's really worth taking the guided tour. We left Salvador with a lot of knowledge.

Magnificent walk - Divine city. Highly recommended tour. Everything was enjoyed. It was unforgettable. The guide took us to all the places of historical and cultural tourist interest. His comments about them were very enriching.

RUN AWAY FAST...SCAM TOUR - Of all our years of travel, this was simply the most horrifying tour, ever. It wasn't actually a tour. The Guide appeared to be intoxicated from the beginning. He argued with the driver constantly. He only had WIFI service on his cell, so he could never reach the driver after we were dropped. We didn't enter any buildings or churches, just a grocery store where he had us buy him bagels while he flirted with women. There was no commentary as we drove by interesting sites of historical value. Finally, we demand to be returned to the port/ship and the driver got lost and we were stuck on a dead end street and no way out. Once again they started arguing. The Guide made us get out of the vehicle and we were forced to walk blocks back to the ship through potentially dangerous and unknown areas. We have demanded a full refund for a wasted day in a beautiful port of call. We have friends that went on a different tour/operator and their experience was amazing.
