- The Eagle’s Nest - Eagles Nest & Bavarian Alps Option - You tour guide will join you on your journey up to the Eagle’s Nest. You will board specially build Busses to drive up the Eagle’s Nest Road, voted one of the most beautiful mountain roads of Europe. This 20 minute bus ride takes us to the bus parking which is located 124 meters below the Eagle’s Nest. We then walk 124 meters in to a tunnel that gives access to the historical elevator. This will take us in to the house itself where your guide will explain how everything was furnished and used during the Third Reich. After this detailed exclusive information, you will have time to explore more of the location. You can walk up to the top of the mountain for pictures and maybe have a refreshment on the sun terrace. There you will enjoy 360 degrees of breathtaking Eagle eye views over the Bavarian alps.

- 할스타트 - Hallstatt Option - Experience the beauty of the Austrian Lake District, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hallstatt, the pearl of the Salzkammergut, on this private luxury tour. Drive along the emerald-green Fuschlsee and stop at its castle; take a picture from a great view point above the town of St Gilgen, where Mozart’s mother was born.
Pass by the town of Bad Ischl, the former summer residence of the emperor Franz Josef. You will have 1.5hours to explore Hallstatt, where you can visit all the hidden gems and must-sees, and enjoy 7000 years of history.

This unique Private excursion commences with a collection from the harbour where your cruise ship is anchored in Passau or Linz. Upon gathering, we will head towards the city of Salzburg or other intriguing locations such as the Lake District, Hallstatt, or the Eagle’s Nest (available from May 15 to 31 October). We are always open to tweaking your itinerary on the spot. Anything and everything is feasible.

- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- Travelers must inform us of the age, hight and weight of the child/infant. According to the European Union law, children under the age of 12 or under 150 cm must be seated in a appropriate car seat.

A dream come true - We were 4 couples traveling on a Viking cruise. We opted to book our own excursion to Salzburg and were thrilled that we did. Michael was the perfect guide. A few of us were long-time Sound of Music fans. He took us to several sites where parts of the movie were filmed. My personal favorite was seeing the landscape where the opening scene was shot. It was as breathtaking in person as on the big screen. To wander the streets where Mozart was raised, learn some of the history of Salzburg along with the back stories of the shooting of the Sound of Music was a day beyond my dreams. To top it off, Michael knew just where to take us to meet up with our river boat. We really couldn't have asked for more.

Sound of music... - Sound of music experiences, and a knowledgeable, entertaining guide. Michael is the best. Michael picked us ip at ship right on time and entertained us on the long drive to Salzburg.

Day went to fast and wish we had more time! - Micheal picked us up at our boat in Passau and drove us 2 hours into Salzburg. Along the way, he provided us with interesting information. It was a beautiful, snowy day, so he took us to a couple of fairy tail spots to view. Afterwards, we went into Salzburg and we opted to shop at the Christmas Market over a tour! It just wasn't enough time. He promptly got us back to the boat on time, taking a different route with more magnificent views.

Great Success - Michael couldn't have been any better. Very knowledgeable and personable. Went out of his way to ensure our visit was a success. The weather was terrible (snow, rain, and fog) but Michael handled the driving and commentary very well.

Day trip to Salzbury from Passau (river cruise) - Michael was a wonderful guide for our day trip. He picked us up promptly (even a little early) right from the ship in Passau. He is full of knowledge about the country as well as the Salzburg area. The advantage of of private tour is stopping at hidden treasures along the way. Michael stopped off a small local church on a beautiful lake. What a special place!!! He took a mountain approach to introduce us to Salzburg. Can't thank him enough for taking such good care of us. We totally enjoyed the overview of Salzburg, the mountains, the lovely lunch and the sites of the Sound of Music. Looking forward to returning some day.
