- Ursulinenpl. 9 - The dinner cooking class is entirely dedicated to Austrian cuisine and music. Every participant will shape their own traditional Salzburg pretzel which will later be served as their appetizer. For the main course we will cook a traditional farmer’s dish - Austrian speck dumplings (for vegetarians we do cheese dumplings.) For dessert, roll up your sleeves to create the most popular Austrian dessert - the apple strudel. To make sure you have both a traditional and an unforgettable Austrian dining experience, you will be treated to timeless musical classics from Mozart, the Sound of Music, and more from our soprano from the Mozart University.

Additional Information
The cooking lesson is solely focused on Austrian food and music. Each attendee will handcraft their own Salzburg-style pretzel as an appetizer. The main course involves cooking a traditional rural Austrian dish - speck dumplings (or cheese dumplings for vegetarians). The final touch will be the creation of a famous Austrian dessert - apple strudel. To ensure a memorable and truly Austrian dining experience, soprano Alina will perform iconic pieces from Mozart and the Sound of Music. The intimate group size of up to 15 people will make you feel like you’re at a private concert.

Fun, interesting and delicious! - What a fun, educational and tasty time! We joined a dinner class at Edelweiss - it was well-organized and really fun. The fellow class members were all nice, and the Edelweiss team was fantastic. While the cooking was finishing, we were treated to an amazing mini-concert of operatic music and a bit of Sound-of-Music sing-along. Overall, it was a great addition to our visit to Salzburg.

Great class - I really enjoyed the class. I came alone but was added to another group of two and everyone was very nice. I appreciate that there were vegetarian options. Looking forward to trying the recipes myself at home

Fun and delicious! - This experience was top notch! The chef teaching us was just lovely! Very knowledgeable, kind, and funny. She explained and demonstrated everything well and made it easy to do on our own. The food turned out delicious!
The concert during dinner was wonderful too!
My only “complaint” was they ran out of red wine- but that was a minor thing. I’m sure they’ll restock.

Wonderful time, great explanations and definitely worth it. - This was a wonderful experience. Not only were the entire staff helpful and on top of everything, this also answered questions and provided feedback of techniques. It was a truly one of a kind experience. I recommend this for anyone interested in trying something a little different than the more “traditional” tours.

Outstanding evening with family! - An exceptional evening in a beautiful location! The staff was a joy and the experience was too. Preparing your own food and enjoying it with the others in the class was fun but the best part was the shared experience. I can’t recommend this highly enough.
