An all round thoroughly enjoyable experience - River cruise was excellent .The skipper was very knowledgeable in no less than 3 languages!!
Dinner was served in a room.with beautiful views over the city.Food was tasty and presented by a very pleasant waiter.
Concert was wonderful.

Wonderful Date Night - We had a great time on the boat tour, took in absolutely gorgeous views at dinner, and watch a fabulous concert by very talented musicians after. It was a wonderful night in Salzburg!

A very special night of fine food and lovely music with talented musicians in a castle setting - A stunning setting and magnificent food and concert. Even for non-classical music lovers this is well worth it. The opportunity to fine dine, including the Salzburg souffle, and to sit up close to the musicians was memorable. Not something you would do everyday

A “must have” experience - The fortress, the dinner, the concert were fabulous. It’s hard to say which we enjoyed the most. All were 5 star. The river cruise was also great and the captain gave us a fun experience with lots of information about Salzburg. This tour is a “not to be missed” in our experience.

A Very special Salzburg Evening with Amazing views to boot - This was just great- the cruise on this part of the Danube was just ordinary, but once you got out and took the funicular up to the castle for a great dinner with wonderful views, and then heard a wonderful chamber music Mozart concert in the castle- it was a completely special experience.

Great experience overall with a caveat - Overall this was a great experience. The views and food at the Fortress are fantastic and the concert afterwards was excellent.
Just be aware that each event is separate: cruise, dinner, and concert. There is also a 15-20 minute walk from the boat to the fortress’s cable cars, and it is over cobblestones with some hills. I don’t feel like that was clear enough when we purchased the excursion.
However, the rest of the evening made up for the unexpected difficulties. Great food, wine, and music.

The view from the restaurant and Mozart concert were stunning - The view from the castle is amazing, the food was quite good in the restaurant and the Mozart Concert was sublime.

Skip the boat ride - The boat ride and the fortress experience don’t really go together. After the boat ride is over, you have to walk quite a way, maybe 3/4 of a mile, to get to the funicular that takes you up to the fortress. The boat is amazingly not ventilated. It’s like a big plastic box, and It was a hot day. The leader of the boat ride was very impressive and fabulous but the boat ride itself was pretty dull. If you’re doing both things and it’s hot, wear walking shoes and layers because it’s hot in the fortress. The dinner was great (except souffles for dessert were not to my liking and we didn’t have a choice.) The concert was exceptional, the musicians were pros, the acoustics were very good. It was hot in the concert room but we were enthralled. Take away the boat ride and the fortress bit would get 5 stars.

Great concert but bad dinner - The river cruise and convert were amazing! However, the dinner is not great. We paid extra for the VIP dinner and it was not VIP at all. It did not feel like VIP. We got the basic course concert dinner like everybody else and they said there was no VIP dinner. The dinner was small and the Turkey roulade was dry. They gave us one small bread roll per person and we could not get a second one because they didn’t have anymore. We also didn’t get a table by the window when it was reserved. My advice is do not pay extra for the VIP dinner. It’s not worth it. I probably wouldn’t pay or get the dinner option for the tour. They have a regular dinner menu that has more dish options. The concert menu only gives you two dish options - a meat or a vegetarian option.
