Absolutely worth it - Outstanding display of talent. Just wish the seating was more like stadium seating or the performers were on a higher stage so all could watch the grand display of talent and art. We took our kids who have been enjoying classical music since birth. They also are musically gifted and felt It was special for them as well (boys 8,10).

Don't miss this! - Fantastic concert, highly talented musicians. The atmosphere, the stunning Marble Hall and the level of musicianship made this an amazing evening. We arrived early to check on our tickets, seating, etc. This was a good move, as we didn't have to wait in line right before the concert began, and also gave us time to walk around in the beautiful gardens. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Salzburg!

Great way to experience a historical building. - We enjoyed this concert. The 17th century Palace really helps to bring the music to life. Only recommendation would be directions to and from the elevator/lift.

Did not measure up to a high quality performance. Surprisingly bad for Salzburg musicians! - As a classical music buff who attended concerts all week at the Salzburg Festival, this was a surprisingly off-key and lackluster performance, featuring the cellist who played well but a boring repertoire. The small ensemble lacked energy and polish, there was no showmanship or enthusiasm, not even an announcement of the piece being played until the brief encore. I was happy it ended!
