Super fun and interesting experience!! - Tomas the guide (sp?) and Evil the bus driver (sp?) were fantastic. We learned a lot on the bus ride and then had so much fun at the salt mine. Riding the mine train, the slides, and the boat was awesome. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time with this unique experience.

Worth it - This is in a beautiful country side, the fact that this is still a working mine makes it all the more amazing. This was fun, educational and worth every penny. You also stop in a small town to visit and have strudel if u like....we did and did like 👍

Fun tour, audio could be better - We are glad we did the salt mine tour though there were some things that would have made the experience better. First things first, the guide and bus driver from Salzburg to the mine both did a nice job. Walter shared some great information on the way to the salt mine and kept the group on time through the various stops. During the mine tour we all had issues with the handheld speakers we were given to provide commentary in English. Many times one of the devices would not play at a particular stop or they would begin playing at different times. The guide that took us through the mine was also speaking German to the rest of the group simultaneously which made listening to the English version on the speaker more difficult. She would also speak much longer than the recorded version we were given so we wonder what information we may have missed. It would be nice if everyone were given the speaker devices or the tours were offered in one language for everyone. On the way out of the mine the funicular malfunctioned. It took about 20 minutes to get it moving while we were crowded in the car standing and waiting. We understand equipment can malfunction, it just would have been nice to have received communication to let us know what was happening. Or, to be given the option of using the stairs on the side of the funicular to exit. We did enjoy learning of the history of the mine and how technology has changed. The lake crossing was delightful and the train ride in and out was fun.

Salt mine is fun & different excursion from other salt mines - Our guide was great! The salt mine was interesting & fun but it appeared that the English version was definitely the abridged version as our audio was done but the guide was still talking for quite a while. The vehicle was too small & the door leaked in the rain drenching my husband. Traffic terrible due to religious holiday and we lost a lot of excursion time

Rude tour guide - Our tour guide was extremely rude and impatient w/the group. We were told that we had to leave our bags on the tour bus during the tour, which made total sense. However, at the end of the tour we were told we could not go back on the bus to get our money to buy something in the gift shop because there was not enough time. He even moved one lady to the front of the check outline who did have her money and was purchasing something telling all the people behind her that we were in a hurry. Very rude. The salt mine tour its self was interesting & fun. I have used this company several times and have had great experiences. I will still use them to book excursions and recommend them, however, the tour guide for this specific trip was clearly having a bad day or did not enjoy what he was doing.

Bad business practice - Never took trip never got satisfaction or consideration when called to request a credit because my wife became ill and was unable to take part. I don’t think this is a good way to treat a first time customer as you came highly recommended
