A unique place to visit but be prepared (warm clothes and tough climbing) - A great experience but some recommendations - 1. Bring warm clothes but during the climbing don’t use all of them, because you will probably sweat a lot. 2. Be ready for a tough climbing, very tough, more or less 40 minutes plus 700 steps in the cave The visit is worthwhile.

This is a must see - Wow wow wow this was fantastic. Bit if a hike to get to the cave entrance. Wear comfy shoes and take warm clothes! It’s really freezing in the caves. Or Guide Michael was great. Be warned there are over 1000 steps once your inside the cave.

Great trip, the effort is worth it - Our driver Luciano was fantastic. He was friendly and helpful and had a great sense of humour. The drive out to the trail up to the caves was lovely, and although I found the walk up a challenge it was very pretty. The caves were amazing, lots and lots of steps but worth the effort. We enjoyed the short walk to the wagon and as it had rained, the cascade was running very fast. A nice finishing touch. Watch out for the chapel on the rock! A great trip.

Overrated - While the cave is very very impressive, we all felt it had much more to offer, so we came out quite disappointed. The tour in the cave itself takes about 70 minutes. The level of guidance is very poor, and they have one goal: to have you out of the cave as fast as possible, to enable as many groups as possible, in. The gimmick of using a traditional lighting does not enable you to admire the full magnificence of the cave. You pass through the various attractions quite fast, and instead of sufficient time to stop and admire this nature wonder, you are busy walking and climbing to the next short stop. I wish the stops at each site would be much longer and the lighting system would be better. The point is not just to go through the cave, but to have enough time to tour, to look and marvel the sights.
