Registan - Registan is not just a symbol of the city or Uzbekistan, but of the entire Middle East. This complex is the highlight of your visit to Uzbekistan.
Gur Emir Mausoleum - The Gur Emir Mausoleum is a medieval structure with a gilded interior, built for the great Tamerlane and his male descendants.
Bibi Khanym Mosque - The Bibi Khanym Mosque is the largest mosque in Central Asia, including Iran. It was constructed by Tamerlane’s beloved wife to commemorate his victory over India.
Siab Bazaar - The Siyab Bazaar is an oriental market offering spices, fresh and dried fruits, and the famous Samarkand bread.
Hazrat Khizr Mosque - This is the first mosque of Samarkand, where the first President of the Republic was buried.
Shah-i-Zinda - This complex includes about 20 mausoleums and is the female tomb of Tamerlane’s family. It is the only place in Central Asia where a relative of the prophet is buried.
Observatory of Ulugbek - Built by Ulughbek, the grandson of Tamerlane, this observatory is notable as Ulugbek was both an astronomer and the head of an empire in the Islamic world.
Afrasiyab Museum - The only museum in Uzbekistan that preserves frescoes from the pre-Arabic period of Central Asia (7th century A.C.).
Tourist village - Konigil - The Samarkand Paper Mill in Konigil showcases the unique traditional method of producing paper from mulberry trees. Additionally, visitors can learn about the production of sesame oil, cotton, linseed oil, and melon seed oil.
