Family Fun - We loved the Dino. We loved the Aquarium. Oh, we loved the butterflies. And absolutely the birds and monkey. Love it and had a great time.

so many animals! - a lot of walking but so many cool animals, but a lot of the animals were hidden and or sleeping so we really couldn’t see them. we went inside the butterfly area and was so amazing to see so many butterflies flying around . definitely would go back

Fun zoo - Tickets were discounted from buying at the zoo, which is a plus. Zoo here is pretty good - feeding giraffes was a highlight.

Awesome zoo with variety of animals and things to do - It is one of the nicest zoo we have visited especially considering the fact that it is 110 years old. It seemed very well maintained and people who work there are very friendly and helpful. You will need several hours to have a full visit. We specifically liked the reptile exhibit and the fish aquarium. The bird room was decent. The apex of the visit was the giraffes feeding for $5. One disappointment was the closed 4D movie experience - it was advertised but no person was visible to tend the stand. After asking the security person did not even know why. Another BIG plus is the fact that they offer strollers for a fee, but due to the enormous ground cover you will appreciate this for kids. To rest, we played at the Discovery PLAYce which is a plain grass ground for kids to run around. Snacks and food can get pricey. Better to eat before your visit and walk it off. There is also some construction going on for renovation. Still, very nice but time consuming. Plan at least 4-5 hours for your visit.

Nice Zoo - Decided to go to the zoo on a solo day. It was a beautiful zoo. The day I went had a lot of school kids that seemed to be doing field trips so sometimes it was difficult to get up close and see things. The animals were not very active on this day. Lots of great exhibits.

Zoo Life - I had the CityPass and had 1 last attraction left to visit for my trip, so I decided the Zoo would be the best bang for my buck, considering tickets are $36 normally. I felt like the map was very helpful with getting around. Liked seeing the animals. Although, there were many empty enclosures and/or animals sleeping or laying around in an unseen area. That was a little bit of a downer. Other than that, there are LOTS of birds. I would’ve liked to have seen more marine animals (I know this isn’t an aquarium but those are my fav animals). The Savanna and the Congo are “coming soon” areas that I think will be super cool. I will have to visit again when those are built. I visited late in the afternoon (around 3:30PM, they close at 5). It seems almost all the food places were either already closed when I got there or closed by 4:30PM, I wasn’t bothered by it - since I wasn’t planning on eating - but just letting people know. Also, all of the “experiences” seemed to have been closed. Like feeding giraffes, kangaroo crossing, etc. not sure what time those end or if they had been closed the whole day.

Decent zoo with lots of fun experiences - They have done alot to make this place a better zoo. I went like 17 years ago and was not impressed and went back this weekend and was pleasantly surprised and they are still building more. Lots of animals, lots of indoor animal rooms, lots for the kids to explore and play on. Fun animal talks. Only thing I will complain about is the food. Is sub par, costs more then it should, and takes forever to get, even if you pre order

HOT, HOT, HOT! - It was very hot and not many animals were visible. I would recommend going early in the morning. Don't forget sunscreen and wear comfortable shoes.

Let down expectations - I was very excited taking our youngest grandkids as were they.. we have been several times thru the years. It has been probably 13 years since last visit. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. It felt very run down. From the animal’s habitats to the landscape. My granddaughter was excited to see the hippos…. Unable to see them due to water and glass very dirty. I think for the amount of money we paid it would have been a lot cleaner.
