Best 4 days I’ve ever had - I went March for 3 nights. If you are up for basics, on sandy desert islands, away from home comforts this is absolute heaven. Eg this is not a hotel. It is basic shelters on a beautiful desert island. There is a new road just complete (March 2024) from Panama City so it’s not bumpy like the last reviews say….but it is very windy. Have faith in the process. You will never know what is happening or where you will go - it will not be islands as listed on the itinerary but you won’t be disappointed… so…. relax, get to your most chilled place and know that someone will bring a boat round and shout your name at some point and all will be well. We went to 3 islands a day and slept on a different one each night. One had no power, one you poured water down the toilet to flush but that was more that I expected. Some had power and flushing toilets. Peaceful heaven… day trippers come onto the island for 2/3 hours then leave it just to your group. I would not recommend this for day trippers- it is too far a journey.. stay at least a night, 2 if you can and 3 was great. If you need detailed plans day to day this ain’t for you. If you can let go and go with the flow I have never been anywhere more beautiful. You are safe. Tou will be fed chiecken and rice/ fish and rice/ breakfast eggs…You will have food but bring own water and a few snacks from the gas stop on the way. Most places you can buy water and beer and Coca Cola. And even cocktails at some. At this time of year you only need swimsuit shorts and something to cover up from the sun. It is hot at night so do not need anything warm at this time of year. Some swimming shoes useful for snorkelling around sunken wrecks or one of the rocky islands. Because you are largely in the water and travelling by the local boats you will be wet all the time so just wear your swimsuit and a clever up. . You don’t need anything here. It will only be sandy and wet.. Leave your suitcases at your hotel. Most have free storage is you ask. You have to climb in and out of the boats often from the shore/ the water … if you ask loud enough before you set off they will put a ladder in boat which really helps but we didn’t get that til day 3. But we all helped eachother in and out. No mosquitoes on islands. Bring power bank cos you’ll want to take a lot of photos. You’ll see clear water and amazing underwater wildlife. If there was some information that would have made things better but we learnt there is none and you’ll only find out what is happening when something is happening but it works!!! Bring waterproof phone case and bring Colombian pesos you may want drinks, or to buy things from local tribes. Probably the best thing I have ever done.

4 Day 3 Night - SAN Blas Islands - The car trip from Panama City to Carti Port was approx 3 1/2 hours. The beginning and end of the ride was smooth. The middle was very bumpy - TAKE Dramamine for motion sickness. The first night at Aroma Island was in no small words - shocking - for those used to AC and towels. Hut with Dirt floors but had a bed. My kids ended having fun with the experience but be ready. The second night at Aguca Island was really nice. Above ground lodging and just cool all around. The 3rd night at Perro Chico had electricity and fans which made sleeping so much better. At All the islands, you mostly have to take turns using the common shared but private showers. The food is the same throughout, chicken, fish and sometimes octopus or shrimp. Food is good. Bring snacks from the mainland to supplement. Bring $1s and $5s to buy water, soda and beers. The day trips to the natural pool, sunken ship, native islands and various coral reefs were amazing. They provide snorkeling gear. Pack light, bring soap and shampoo. Leave the sneakers at home or in the suitcase. Aqua socks, crocs or flip-flops all are better. Bring a water proof bag. Order a quick-dry micro fiber towel from Amazon and bring it with you. It will double as a beach towel, bath towel and blanket (this is my wife telling me to share this). Bottom line: if you are looking to do some different in a stunning scenic location - this is the place. Be prepared to go back in modern time to basic living conditions. The Kuna people are so nice but very reserved. The guides are outgoing and fun. My wife and 3 teenagers, niece and I will never forget their time here!

Paradise islands - It was amazing 4 days. The islands are like from different world. Beautiful nature, warm people, good local food. The activities were amazing. You could try many varied things like paddling or snorkeling. We loved that part of our trip. They were also very well planned - they took part of the day, leaving the other part to rest. The logistics was also great. The boat pilots knew precisely who should go where and at what time.

Brilliant experience - The trip was amazing - saw some of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen. Was looked after every step of the way. Went snorkelling and paddle boarding. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Juan was a brilliant tour guide. If you’re looking for a real rural island experience this is the one for you!

An amazing experience that you can’t miss! - The islands were amazing and unlike anything we’ve ever experienced! The hosts were great and accommodating so you just have to let go and let them take care of things!

Amazing - Yann was an awesome tour guide! Sophie & Sandra were great sidekicks. Amazing experience that I will always remember. Delicious food, beautiful beaches, interesting culture of the Kuna, spectacular snorkling.. a must see when in Panama! Thank you guys!

HONEST REVIEW (read this before going) - Aroma island was horrific, everything else fantastic. If you can avoid staying on aroma island, do. I was expecting it to be basic, but this was another level (coming from a backpacker who stays in hostels a lot). The staff were unfriendly, the hut is sand floors and smelly bedding, the showers disgusting. The food was fine though. Aguja island was nice! Lovely staff and the room was fine, basic but it was clean. I would recommend staying for 1/2 nights, no longer. The snorkelling was really cool and it was so interesting to see how the Guna people live. If you do go, these are things you need: 1. WATER! No water is included, even with meals, you have to pay 2 dollars a bottle (in cash). 2. Waterproof bag 3. Hand sanitizer (there’s no soap anywhere) Basically, 2 nights is fine. 3 nights of not sleeping was too much for us, we actually finished the trip early. I wish I knew what I was getting into before I went. This is a back to basics trip. You will have no plugs to charge anything, you won’t be able to get clean at all, sand everywhere. It’s hard to stay hydrated because of the water situation. You can’t shower. AVOID AROMA ISLAND Aguja island is nice :)
