Great fun! - Really interesting and fun! Enjoyed touring the farm, seeing the animals, and learning so much from this hands on experience. Our guide was awesome and the cacao was so yummy! A perfect way to rest of sore muscles from a long hike.

Great tour in a rainy day! - It was a dark and rainy afternoon - we went around the farm with provided umbrellas and listened to the farm stories. Then we went into the demonstration area and enjoyed samples. There were a couple kids there - they had so much fun too! Totally recommend

Who knew that's how chocolate is made - Great tour. The guide's english was great and his french was coming along well (or so it seemed to us). The chocolate was delicious, I just wish the tour included more than a few half teaspoon samples. I appreciated the information about unethical practices on cacao plantations.

Make Sure This is on Your List - We just spent a week in Costa Rica and this was the one of the top activities that I would recommend to everyone. The tour guide, Chapo Guapo, made the tour. He's funny while still being informative. Even if you don't like chocolate, this tour is worth taking, bur we did get to eat delicious, fresh chocolate! And, we even were lucky enough to see a sloth while we were there. You won't be disappointed!

So much fun & deliciousness - We did not know what to expect and this surpassed whatever we imagined would happen. Our tour leader was so talented and fun, her name sounds like Excel. The grounds were extensive and lovely. She was a real expert and her passion for the topic was evident. We learned so much about the cultivation and history of cocoa plant, about vanilla, got to taste a ton. Then the actual tasting was the most fun of all. Spoonfuls of rich sweetened dark chocolate with myriad toppings. Quite a culinary adventure.

Great Chocolate Tour - We really enjoyed this short but sweet (pum intended) chocolate tour! Our guide was thorough in her knowledge of the history of chocolate, and the chocolate was muy delicioso! They also recommended a coffee shop to us that was the best we had in all of Costa Rica!

Okay - The chocolate tour was okay. We were taught about the origin of chocolate, saw some trees with cacao growing but I was disappointed. I expected more involvement, more history and more chocolate to taste.
