Do this fun activity - Highly recommend this fun adventure. My family and I never kayaked before and the instructors made it so easy. A wave in the cave flipped my husband and son’s kayak over and the instructor went right into action getting them back on the kayak. We are so thankful for the excellent recovery skills the instructors posses.

Great Wildlife! - Josh was a great tour guide who knew a lot about the wildlife living there. He made an effort to converse with us instead of just talking at us. I would 1000% go again!

A head above the rest - The guides were fantastic, sharing science, history and anecdotes about La Jolla caves, and teaching the group how to do safely and effectively paddle the surf. Highly recommend over other tour groups in the area!

Wonderful experience with Hannah and Brody! - Myself and a friend took this excursion and we had Hannah and Brody as our guides. I am not very experienced with a kayak, especially in the ocean, and they were so kind and patient with me. They were super informative and made me feel safe.

Single Kayak Experience - Operator company was quick to respond to questions I had before taking the outing and this was a fun, quick experience with very personable guides (main guide and a trainee at the time - unfortunately, I cannot recall their names). My start time was shifted and they offered me a free locker as a result which was great as I was able to keep a change of clothes and anything else I did not want to get wet safely stored. They also had a changing rooms which also helped as I was not staying in the area and had to take ride shares so leaving wet was not an option for me.

Not able to go in the caves - Our tours guide Maya and Lucy did a great job and provided some interesting information about the La Jolla cove and area. However, we were a little disappointed we could not get close to the caves due to the surf conditions. We know the tour cannot control the tide but it would have been nice if they were more upfront and told us we would not be entering the caves so we could have the opportunity to reschedule if desired.

No caves - Check with the business before going as the tide was too strong to go into the caves, we didn’t know this before we went out.
