- USS Midway Museum - Experience the USS Midway flight deck up close. The USS Midway (CVB/CVA/CV-41) is a former U.S. Navy aircraft carrier and the lead ship of its class. Commissioned just eight days after World War II ended, it was the world’s largest warship until 1955 and the first U.S. carrier too large for the Panama Canal. Over its 47 years of service, it participated in the Vietnam War and served as the Persian Gulf flagship during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Decommissioned in 1992, it now serves as a museum ship in San Diego, California, and is the only non-Essex-class inactive U.S. aircraft carrier. It’s a fantastic spot for photos!
- Coronado Bridge - Navigate under the Coronado Bridge towards downtown. The San Diego–Coronado Bridge, commonly known as the Coronado Bridge, is a prestressed concrete/steel girder bridge that spans San Diego Bay, connecting San Diego to Coronado, California. It is part of State Route 75.
- Coronado Beach - Visit Glorietta Bay Park, a city park with a small north-facing beach on the San Diego Bay side of Coronado Island.

- The Rady Shell At Jacobs Park - Check out the Rady Shell Amphitheatre. Opened in Summer 2021, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is an architectural marvel on the edge of San Diego Bay in downtown. It represents the fulfillment of a long-held civic dream for a state-of-the-art concert venue that enhances live music experiences and serves as a public hub for San Diego. Similar to national venues like Wolf Trap, Tanglewood, and Ravinia, The Rady Shell is the summer home of the San Diego Symphony.
- Maritime Museum of San Diego - Approach the Star of India and see the historic Galleon ship submarine. The Maritime Museum of San Diego is renowned for its excellence in restoring, maintaining, and operating historic vessels. It boasts one of the world’s finest collections of historic ships, including the Star of India, the oldest active ship in the world. As you make your final turn, you’ll see the USS Dolphin submarine, the world’s deepest diving submarine, known for its unique deep-diving capabilities and contributions to undersea naval research.
- Tuna Harbor Park - Pass by Tuna Harbor Park to see the commercial fishing boats and the famous “Kissing Statue.” Officially named “Embracing Peace” by the city of San Diego, the statue is a 25-foot-tall, 6,000-pound replica of the iconic 1945 Life magazine photograph. The statue depicts a sailor embracing and kissing a nurse.
