Scott is a gem - Scott really ‘gets’ the fabric of the city in its early days & lovingly shared the ups & downs of who did what how. Great food stops - arrive hungry!

Wonderful Chinatown food tasting tour - Food was great throughout the tour. We were given an extensive history and background of Chinatown as well. A highlight of the tour was the final stop (tea tasting). We ended up staying an hour and a half past the end of the tour there (and we aren’t even tea drinkers). Overall, a great tour.

Great tour of Chinatown - We had a tour with Andre. He was great! I read that others have felt rushed on this tour, and I can see how some may feel that way, but we enjoyed the fast pace, and the fact that we were able to see lots of sites within only a few hours.

Amazing tour. Highly recommend. - Amazing tour. Isabella was fun and provided a ton of history as we walked through Chinatown. The food was amazing. My daughter is turning 13 in a couple weeks and she had the gentleman who was playing the instrument on the sidewalk play her happy birthday. Come hungry as you will be stuffed when you finish. Highly recommend this tour.

Great Experience Overall - We really enjoyed learning about the history of Chinatown, settlement, the people, fires and earthquakes while we toured. Then getting to go to selected businesses to sample Dim Sum, teas, Peking Duck, meat buns, chocolate, fortune cookies emerged us into the culture. It was a very enjoyable experience. Our guide, Scott, is so informed on the area because he’s lived and worked here, and knows the business owners where we visited that made the tour even more than we anticipated.

A good history lesson with great food! - The group size and walking pace were very good. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Scott shared a lot the history of San Francisco's China Town and the city itself. The food was plentiful and very good Cantonese . The food was catered to folks who don't like more spicy Chinese cuisine, like Szechuan. I must say that the vegetable dumplings that I've ever head. The visits at the specialty chocolate shop and tea shop were highlights for me.

SF Chinatown Food Tour - Less fun when a small group food tour turns out to be only you and partner. Fewer tastes. Miss camaraderie. Interesting nevertheless.
