Our day commences at Armstrong Woods, home to some of Earth’s oldest and tallest trees. This park showcases 1500-year-old, 300-foot Redwoods, providing an admirable walk through one of Northern California’s distinctive forests. We deliberately avoid the crowded Muir Woods, choosing instead Armstrong for its impressive older and taller trees and the secluded atmosphere it offers.
We then journey to a quaint logging town to buy lunch, and if it’s sunny, we continue on to have a beach picnic along the breathtaking Californian coastline.
Our day concludes in Sausalito, a charming town on the San Francisco Bay, offering stunning views of the city. You have the option to either return with us or take a scenic 30-minute ferry journey back to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
